Title: The Giver / Luke 17:11-19

Contents

thank you

On the occasion of Macchu Thanksgiving Sunday, the Calvary Church members are dedicated to their homes, workplaces, and businesses.

I bless you with God's amazing blessings.

Samuel Johnson Boswell said, “Gratitude is the fruit of good culture.

You can't find it in the world of lowly people."

In this world, there are those who are grateful for the things that have been given to me and those who do not appreciate it.

Also, no matter how good things happen, people who don't know how to rejoice in them

There are people who appreciate and rejoice greatly, no matter how small.

Such a phenomenon occurs with emotionally rich people

It could be the difference between those who didn't.

In the text, ten lepers were healed by the power of Jesus.

But only one of them, a Samaritan, tried to glorify God.

He came to Jesus and thanked him. It is a beautiful thing indeed.

However, the remaining nine were healed of an incurable disease, but the one who cured it

There was no expression of thanks. It's a really terrifying thing.

There are many paths through which we can meet the Lord.

Some people become discouraged after a business failure and fall on their knees before the Lord to find new strength.

If he asks for new strength and God's help, the way he met Jesus is "by failure."

Another person, when he was in good health, did not live according to the Word of God, but fell ill with an incurable disease.

After being sentenced to be impossible to heal by human strength, he returned to God

If you repent of the past and pray to the Lord with a heart for God's miracle,

He met the Lord while he was sick.

He lived according to his own opinion, ignored God's words, and pretended not to listen to the counsel of the Lord's servant Tyler.

There are people who live on their own terms and come back to the Lord with a sigh in the midst of repeated failures and adversity.

In the midst of repeated cares and anxieties, they depend on the Lord's mercy

They want to be embraced by God with a new resolution, repent of the past, and enjoy the joy. Therefore, they are people who met the Lord through “grieving, worrying, and suffering.”

However, one of the people who was healed in today's text met Jesus while running to give thanks to the Lord.

Thus, he met the Lord in "thanks of thanks."

Here is the difference.

We can meet Jesus through failure, sorrow, sickness, and suffering.

But like this, after wandering through the dark paths of the world, I returned to the Lord and squeezed out my pain.

There is a difference between meeting the Lord when we call on the Lord and meeting the Lord with thanksgiving.

When we meet the Lord through our worries and anxieties, we must go through painful hardships and adversity.

But when we meet the Lord through thanksgiving, we can meet the Lord with joy.

Also, when meeting the Lord through thanksgiving

It means that Jesus is waiting with an answer in advance before we go to visit.

That's right. Thinking of the Lord waiting to meet me on the road of thanksgiving

Gratitude should become a daily life.

Today, I realized the secret of meeting the Lord in that “gratitude” and always in gratitude

Meeting the Lord, sharing the joy, sharing the pain, meeting the Lord

I pray in the name of the Lord that you will become saints who lead a blessed life with the Lord.

first. Who is grateful to the Lord?

Those who thanked the Lord were not Jews who had a sense of privilege and choice.

He was a Samirai who was despised and despised as a foreigner.

The Jews had no gratitude for what Jesus had done.

The Jews are ungrateful because they have a proud heart.

Because they were people who lived in privilege, it was impossible to be healed or to receive grace.

Everyone would have taken it for granted.

Others received it, and I also received it, so it seems that I did not feel grateful.

I am the only one who deserves special grace, but it is not enough to think that it is something to be grateful for.

Pride is the one who pierces the sky. Someone who doesn't know the subject.

Those who have received grace must learn to be thankful that I did not fall out.

The Sararian did not expect to be healed because he was not a Jew.

However, I had no choice but to be thankful because I was unexpectedly blessed with more than expected.

Pastor Henry Ward Beecher said, "Pride kills gratitude.

But humility is the soil from which gratitude naturally grows.

A proud person seldom gives thanks.

Because he never thinks he's getting what he deserves."

A humble person is also grateful. A proud person does not know how to be grateful.

A person who knows that he is a sinner beyond what he can bear,

Those who know that they are not enough people who cannot expect them give thanks passionately when they receive grace.

After all, the person who is grateful is the one who knows that their past has been sinful and unhappy.

He is humble before God and man.

Those who are deeply aware of their own shortcomings and incompetence will be grateful.

People who value everything and value it will be grateful.

Only those who know that the grace they have received is so great and precious can they be thankful.

Only those who know grace as grace will be grateful.

Only those who realize grace can give thanks.

I am grateful when I feel that what I have received is not out of the ordinary.

It depends on the viewer's point of view.

You will learn to be grateful when you have the right eyes to see and the way you think.

Those who accept the great and great blessings of what has been done to me, thank

Those who have no discernment who do not know whether it is a blessing or what

It's always unfortunate.

second. How was he thankful?

The Samaritan was grateful the moment he learned that he had been healed.

I did not delay or wait to give thanks if one day I happened to meet Jesus.

Postponing the present work until later halves your gratitude.

Aristotle said, "Gratitude soon grows old."

Gratitude is not just something you keep in your heart.

The moment you express your gratitude When the person to be thanked recognizes the heart of a truly grateful person

It will be a real thank you.

The Samaritan, who was healed, immediately glorified God.

He returned to Jesus, who had healed him, and fell on his face.

Gratitude must be expressed outwardly.

We can express our gratitude to God in many ways.

Express yourself with praise. It is expressed through worship. It is expressed as a case study.

Expressing grace with pride. It expresses a gift with sincerity.

It is expressed by serving and serving.

Grace is priceless. But grace must be repaid.

Giving thanks is not a bribe or anything of value.

Also, when doing an audit, you should not have any desire to get the opposite benefit.

Gratitude should end with pure gratitude.

It is to express my gratitude as it is.

It is not right to add or be formal.

Even if the person who gave the favor does not ask for it

This is just a case where the recipient comes out of the heart.

not obligatory. It's just volunteering.

Samaritan thanked him like this.

Such gratitude is blessed thanks and pure gratitude.

third. What blessings have come to those who give thanks?

Those who are grateful receive greater grace.

The Samaritan was praised by Jesus.

A wise person is a person who can seize the opportunity to receive the praise of Jesus.

The time when we can receive the praise of Jesus is when the gates of heaven are opened.

It is also an opportunity for me to receive abundant answers from heaven along with the grace of salvation.

So, those who practice gratitude always have answers.

Knowing this response, the audit will never end.

The joy and emotion of gratitude can only be experienced by those who practice gratitude.

It is also the mystery of faith.

The heart of a grateful person is filled with joy and joy.

Let's live a happy life. But a heart without gratitude is like a desolate wilderness.

Gratitude is also the epicenter of the wind of joy that brings joy to the heart.

Grace, gratitude, and joy are similar in language and condition.

The Greek words for grace, thanks, and joy come from the same root, “rejoice”.

Gratitude and joy are simultaneous.

When we realize grace, we give thanks, and thanksgiving contains joy.

To many of you who are not here today and to each of you, the Lord

You may ask, "Where are the nine?"

"Last year, there were many people who gave the blessing of extending their life, but where are they all now?"

“Of those who have made the business prosperous and have been filled with more this year,

There are many who are not here now, but where are they now?"

“Where are the people who blessed them with material things and blessed their children?”

We are constantly on the lookout so that these words do not become troublesome questions from Jesus to us.

I pray that you will become blessed saints who always meet the Lord in "Thanksgiving" with a grateful heart.
