Title: The Glorious Church
Contents
“He set before him a glorious church, without speck or wrinkle or such, holy and blameless” (Ephesians 5:27). Amen.
The church is the true church when it becomes the body of Christ. Therefore, the church that is not the body of Christ is vain. The truth is that the process of becoming the body of Christ is “the message of the cross.”
The way of the cross is not the way to end with suffering, but the way to put off our physical body through death. This is because the body of Christ, that is, the church, cannot be formed without taking off the physical body.
Regarding the way of the cross, the truth is also said to be circumcision made without hands. It is written, “And in him ye were circumcised with a circumcision made without hands, that is, the putting off of the natural body, the circumcision of Christ” (Colossians 2:11). It is the church that unites them with Christ, the head, to form one body.
Therefore, the brothers and sisters who have been circumcised by Christ who take off their fleshly body are now “all one, without male or female. Therefore, all are brothers of Christ and the body of Christ. It is written, “Whoever has been baptized into Christ has put on Christ” (Galatians 3:27), and again, “There is neither Jew nor Greek, slave or free, male or female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.” (Ga 3:28) He said.
As the truth says, “I will declare your name to my brethren, and I will praise you in the midst of the church…” (Hebrews 2:12), so Christ is the firstborn of many brothers clothed in Christ. you have been As it is written, “Those whom God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers” (Romans 8:29).
Therefore, as it is written, “Whoever has been baptized into Christ has put on Christ” (Galatians 3:27), the people of Christ Jesus who are clothed with Christ are the body (church) attached to Christ, the head. Regarding this, the Bible says, "...the one who belonged to Christ at the coming of Christ" (1 Corinthians 15:23), and also "the bride of the Lamb."
It is written, “Therefore, a man leaves his father and mother and is united to his wife, and the two become one flesh, and this is a great mystery; I speak of Christ and of the church” (Ephesians 5:31-32). Those who have it are truly blessed. Regarding this, the Bible says, “He must have the mystery of faith with a clear conscience” (1 Timothy 3:9).
The Bible exhorts the true church, “Put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and do not devote yourself to the lusts of the flesh” (Romans 13:14). Therefore, the church is “the body of Christ, and every part of it” (1 Corinthians 12:27). Therefore, he testifies of the true church, saying, “In the same way we, who are many, are one body in Christ and members of one another” (Romans 12:5).
Now the secret of this belief is that even now in the world the suffering of the head continues in his body. It is written, “I now rejoice in the afflictions I suffer for you, and I fill my body with the rest of the sufferings of Christ for the sake of his body, the church” (Colossians 1:24). There is suffering. Without this suffering, it would not be his body.
As it is written, "For it was granted to you for Christ's sake, not only to believe in him, but also to suffer for him" (Philippians 1:29).
Because the head and body are one life. The birth of life is a combination of suffering in the head and body. Therefore, it is written, “As the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so our comfort also abounds through him” (2 Corinthians 1:5). so that you may rejoice and rejoice” (1 Peter 4:13).
The Bible says, “The new and living way that you opened through the veil”, but He also said, “The way into the Holy Place has not yet been revealed. Therefore, in the words of the Bible, there are records of those who have entered his rest, and there are records of those who have not yet entered his rest.
It is written, “The Holy Spirit was shown by this, that while the first tabernacle was standing, the way into the sanctuary had not yet been revealed. These things, along with eating and drinking and various washings, became only the ordinances of the flesh and were left until the time of reform” (Hebrews 9:8-10).
It testifies that the veil of the sanctuary is his body, so his body has not been completely torn, and the way into the sanctuary has not yet been revealed. This is like the end of the labor of childbirth when all the toes of the body come out. Therefore, although Christ, the head, has entered the true tabernacle, his body is not yet perfected, so the remaining sufferings of Christ are still in his body, the church. This is the process of the body entering the sanctuary.
But the Bible has already prophesied: “Then the curtain of the sanctuary was torn in two from top to bottom” (Mark 15:38). If God allows...
“Therefore, let us not forsake the basics of the Christian way and lay the groundwork again for repentance of dead works, faith in God, the teachings of baptisms, the laying on of hands, the resurrection of the dead, and eternal judgment, but let us go forward to perfection. I will do this” (Hebrews 6:1-3) Amen, please. Thank you Lord.
“Peace be in your days, and salvation, wisdom, and knowledge abound; the fear of the Lord is your treasure” (Isaiah 33:6). Amen, Amen.
