Title: Wrathful God!
God is not only a God of love, but a God of anger as well. Sometimes he is angry, and when humans ignore God's Word and have a union with sin, when they eat and drink sin, they become angry, and when humans are wounded by God and turn from their sins and repent, God loves sinners fervently as if he did. He is also a doer. However, people do not understand that God is a person who always loves God, so they do not understand that God only forgives people unconditionally even when they sin. It originates from the character of God, and this is also an act that despises God. We must know the essence of God rightly and engage in the life of faith.
The Israelites are a people who have made a covenant with God. The content of the covenant is that if the people of Israel know only God as the only God and live according to His word, God will also bless them for thousands of generations so that they can live well in this land without being attacked or harmed by enemies. It is also a promise that in the future he will send the Son of God so that he may have eternal life. On the other hand, if the covenant is broken and Israel behaves as they please, God will bring all kinds of calamity to the people of Israel, and even if a human or animal bears a young, abortion will occur immediately. Also, even if it is barely cultivated, it will be plundered by enemy forces from all sides, so that not a single grain will enter the mouth of the Israelites.
This covenant was established by the Israelites and God through the blood of animals. The faithful God carried out all the covenants he made with the people of Israel without any error. Knowing human weakness, God wanted them all to repent and turn back in the midst of patience despite Israel breaking countless promises. In the midst of this, he endured it to the end and hoped that all the people of Israel would do well on earth and have eternal life.
However, humans full of sin preferred to serve foreign gods (idols) that are visible rather than follow God because they are invisible, and they preferred to believe in their own thoughts rather than obey God's word and live according to them. As a result, they often had abortions even when humans and animals fertilize their young as promised in the covenant. Even when the fruits were opened, they fell before the due date and could not be eaten, and even though they had farmed, the powerful powers of neighboring countries attacked and took them all. When this happened, Israel turned to God for a while and cried out for God's help, and then they followed their thoughts and did not stop serving idols. This happened countless times.
However, God did not forsake them to the end, and sent his son to their land according to the covenant promise. However, as they did not escape from their sins according to their own deeds, they met the Son of God, the owner of the kingdom of heaven. So, even though they had a golden opportunity to gain eternal life, they were blinded by their sins and kept away from the owner of heaven.
This time, because Israel believed in an unbelieving son, the Gentiles were reborn as God's spiritual people. If Israel was born as the fleshly people of God through Abraham, the Gentiles were reborn as the spiritual people of God through the shedding of the blood of Jesus Christ. In other words, the Gentiles could be born as God's people because of the shedding of Jesus' blood. Just as Israel made a covenant with God through the blood of animals, spiritual people now enter into a covenant with God through the blood of Jesus.
The content of the covenant is the same as the covenant made with the Israelites in the Old Testament. Only this has changed spiritually to the Gentiles. If you obey the word of God, you will be treated like the Son of God, and you will enjoy the greatest blessings in this world. Conversely, disobedience will result in far greater suffering and eternal punishment than the punishment received in the covenant made with the blood of animals. In the book of Hebrews there are written words that testify to this. ?쏧f those who abolished the law of Moses died without mercy on account of two or three witnesses, how much more will the punishment deserved by those who trample on the Son of God and regard as unclean the blood of the covenant by which they are sanctified, and dishonor the Spirit of grace. Is it more serious? Think about it.??(Hebrews 10:28,29)
But now, if you look at the Christians today, you can feel that they are repeating the mistakes of the fleshly Israel. Christians today show no concern in the fact that, although they are clearly God's people, they keep trying to imitate the people of fleshly Israel, and they keep trying to become holy on the outside, despite the need to purify their hearts like a spiritual people. can't help but Israel thought that if the law was pure on the outside, everything would be fine, but they did not realize their sin, so they rejected Jesus. But today, the Holy Spirit dwells in believers, so they think that it is all over, and they do not try to examine their own hearts at all. As a result, they keep trying to become holy on the outside, leaving their hearts behind, and they are unable to find sin within themselves as Israel did. If this happens, even the spiritual people will not be able to discover their sins, so it is obvious that they will reject the Son of God who comes spiritually.
When spiritual people reject the spiritually coming Son of God, the punishment is truly terrible. Israel made a covenant with the blood of animals, but not a single person who broke the covenant survived. How much more, if the covenant was made through the blood of the Son of God, what would the punishment be? Therefore, if the spiritual people reject the Son who comes spiritually, they will not dishonor the blood of animals, but rather the spotless and spotless blood of Jesus, and they will be punished for ever. On the other hand, when the spiritual people who made a covenant through the blood of Jesus realize their sins and believe in the Son of God who comes spiritually, the rewards that follow are enormous. The greater the risk, the greater the rewards that follow. If the spiritual people believe in the spiritual Son and become the spiritual Son of God, since everything in the world is given to the Son of God, everything in this world will become the Son of God. will be.
In the Old Testament, if you obey God's Word, you will live well in this world, and later, you will receive eternal life. , honor, and even life) will be taken away, and after becoming a son, He will allow you to possess everything in this world. If the spiritual people do not know this fact and continue to possess their own things (money, honor, life), it means that they give up their eternal life and want to live well on this earth. It is not that there are no fools, but that such people are called fools. If so, am I giving up all my possessions (money, fame, life) and following the Lord? Check yourself out for yourself!
