A. Introduction
1. Attributes of God examined through ‘God-human cognate form’.

B. Body: Obedience to God's salvation process
1. When it is possible to meet the Lord, ‘seek and cry out’ (Isaiah 55:6).
1) Israel in Egypt cries out because of toil
2) ‘Jaak’ (to cry out) → A cry close to a scream
3) Requires ‘podium’:
(1) When it is a little difficult → You must have tried to overcome and endure it on your own (2) When it is too difficult → Acknowledge your limitations and cry out
4) God who hears our cry (Exodus 22:23, Numbers 20:16)
5) Judges: Israel's cry and God's response (sin → punishment → outcry → forgiveness → salvation)
6) God still hears our grievances, groans and pains
2. God hears the sound of suffering.
1) ‘Shemmah’ (listen): He listens intently to the Lord.
2) God waits until the sound of pain reaches the ears of God
3) ‘God hears the sound of pain in the sleeper’ (Theresa)
4) Derived from race → pain: running hard to exhaustion
5) The reason why suffering is beneficial→Because we learn God’s ordinances through suffering (Psalm 119:71)

7) Patience → Pain
8) Compassion (矜恤): pity on those who are in a miserable state (Heb: raheim, hel: eleos) → splanchnizomai (pain: splanchnizomai) → splanchnology (splanchnology: internal science)
9) Journey to Huan Gong of Qin → A monkey cub in the boat → The mother monkey cried 100 miles along the waterway and came to her daughter and died on the boat → When the boat was cut, the intestines were torn and died.
3. God remembers the covenant and watches over His people.
1) The covenant was made with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.
2) Covenant; ‘Berrit’ (cut off) → If you break the covenant, you will be ‘cut off’ like an animal.
3) Covenant of the Old Testament → broken due to the sin of accreditation
4) New Testament (New Covenant) → “The blood of the covenant for you” established through Jesus Christ
5) Man who forgets the covenant, God who made and remembers the covenant

7) Time division
(1) Old Testament Age → The Age of God for Us
(2) When Jesus was in the world → The age with us (God with us)
(3) Age of the Holy Spirit → Age of God in us (God in us)
