Title: The Gospel is an Experience

Bible: John 7:16-17

Title: The Gospel is an Experience

John 7:16-17 ‘16. Jesus answered and said to them, "My teaching is not mine, but his who sent me. 17. If anyone wants to do the will of God, he will know whether this teaching is from God or whether I speak it myself." -Amen.

The purpose of educating the saints is to teach them to know the principles of the Bible and to put them into practice in order to create the constitution that enables them to live by the covenant of God.

We cannot bear more than that, and we have to make good changes in our relationship with God. This is called experiential faith. Because most people are stuck on knowing the principle, they are no longer willing to testify to a new sense of life.

1. Jesus' teaching is the revelatory authority of God

Romans 14:1 There is an expression “those who are weak in faith..” It must be distinguished from the word “unbelievers.” We all have the faith to receive eternal life. However, the effect of faith is different for everyone. Unbelievers understand the words of Jesus as adults because they do not think of God when they think about Jesus himself. However, if you look at the Bible, it is true that even the words spoken through the mouth of the Son Jesus in the Old and New Testaments are the voice of God.

Text John 7:16 “.. my teaching is not mine, but his who sent me”

When you buy new furniture, read the manual to learn the principles of handling it smoothly. You need to know about the newly met God. We need to hear and understand what God is like, the purpose for which God sent His Son Jesus into the world, and the promises that must be fulfilled. Only then will you develop an awareness of God and exercise your faith. It's superstition if you just say, "I believe without knowledge."

Ephesians 1:17-19 ‘17. I beg you to make known what is the exceeding greatness of the power that ... God has made known and ... bestowed upon us who believe.'

2. The Gospel goes beyond theory and is something to experience

When a child who had lost his parents and lived a miserable life meets his parents after decades, they meet again because of their different living circumstances, but they do not harmonize very quickly. At this time, parents begin to teach their children a new way of life. In that way, he finds us, the lost children on the part of our Heavenly Father, and teaches us about life in many ways. That is biblical parenting. Just by listening, you do not realize the Father's authority properly and it has no effect.

This is what John 7:17 says, “If a man will do the will of God, he will know whether this doctrine is from God or whether I am speaking on my own.”

In general, we lack the power of God's children because we are inexperienced. Heb 6:4-5 4. 'Once received the light, and tasted the heavenly gift, and was made partakers of the Holy Spirit 5. We tasted the good word of God and the powers of the world to come...' confirm that it is hostile.

Galatians 2:11 'When Cephas came to Antioch, I rebuked him face to face, because he had something to be rebuked'. We see that we were not completely free souls in Jesus.

John 8:36 ‘If the Son sets you free, you will be truly free’ (John 8:32; 2 Corinthians 3:17 ‘…where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom’)

Romans 8:1-2 ‘1. … There is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus… For the law of the Spirit of life has set you free from the law of sin and death.’

Are our souls free from our sins and environmental difficulties?

You will have to analyze and reflect on whether you live by understanding and making excuses just by will or fatalistic. As a man of the Holy Spirit, we must live by grace.
