Title: The Gospel of Christianity
Content Let's sing our hymn 27:3 together.
“I threw away that glory to save me, who will die forever.
That shameful cross He bore for me He bore for me”
Like this hymn, in today's verse, God 'has laid on him the iniquity of all of us' tells the core of our gospel and Christian truth.
I. Why did Jesus have to bear our sins?
? Let's read the first half of verse 6. Because “we all, like sheep, have gone astray, each one has turned to his own way.”
? Let's break this down in a bit more detail.
① “We” - all of us, no exceptions.
② “Everyone is like a sheep” - Once a sheep leaves the shepherd, it cannot come back by itself.
③ “Going astray” - He left the shepherd and went on a wrong, dangerous path.
④ “Each one went his own way” - He stubbornly refused the voice of the shepherd and went the way he wanted to go.
⑤ “The Lord takes away the iniquity of us all” - God takes away the iniquity of all of us
⑥ “to him” - to Jesus Christ the Son of God
⑦ “He gave you responsibility” - He entrusted you to take responsibility and solve it.
? Question 3Problem:
① What has Jehovah assigned to him (what) of all of us? sin.
② Has Jehovah laid (to whom) the iniquity of all of us? to Jesus.
③ Jehovah made Jesus (how did he do it?) to bear our own sins.
II. The wages of sin is death.
? Romans 6:23a “The wages of sin is death”? This is the law of a righteous God
What is sin? disobeying God's will. Distrust? Disobedience → Death (Eternal Punishment)
? Can man save himself? Impossible. Why? Because you are a sinner.
Romans 3:10 “There is none righteous, not even one” Therefore, there is no hope at all.
Ⅲ. In this world of despair, God sent the Savior Jesus.
Ex) Miss Asasel. Jesus took the sins of mankind and was punished on the cross.
ex) Explanation of verse 6 by hand: ? Left Hand - Ourselves, Right Hand (Jesus Symbol) - Emphasis on innocence.
? “Jesus bore the iniquity of all of us” - Left hand Move the object to the right hand. In this way, Jesus bore our sins on the cross.
? Let's sing the praises of 27:3 again.
? Let's read verse 5. Forgiveness made us atoned for, saved, and made righteous.
IV. what we do
① You must believe in this fact (Gospel). Accepting God's love.
② We must be moved by the grace and serve with gratitude and allegiance.
Ⅴ. What blessings are given to those who believe and serve?
① Salvation. John 3:16
② Restoration of being a child of God. John 1:12
③ All sins, forgive me.
④ peace of mind
⑤ Grievances and complaints go away, and gratitude and joy come.
⑥ You have the will to live and become bold.
⑦ The wandering on the road of life is over.
⑧ Overall health
⑨ Families are reconciled
⑩ A lot of good things happened
⑪ Give me the power to defeat the devil
⑫ Securing eternal life and heaven
This is the gospel of Christianity. Believing this fact is faith, and communicating this fact is evangelism and the great work of God. Let's believe in this truth and work hard.
