Title: The Gospel of the Kingdom of God
Contents
“The law and the prophets were until the time of John, and from then on the gospel of the kingdom of God is preached, and into it every man invades” (Luke 16:16).
The blessings are the blessings of the kingdom of the world and the blessings of the kingdom of God. The blessings of the nations of the world are those of the world who receive our inheritance in this life. This is not an eternal blessing. It was only a shadow of the true thing in the old covenant. The blessings of the world and the blessings of the sons of God are completely different.
Therefore, the gospel that the children of the world hear is different from the gospel that the children of God hear. The Bible clearly states this. It is written, “Therefore it is said, Awake, you who sleep, and rise from the dead, for Christ will give you light” (Ephesians 5:14).
The gospel that the dead cannot hear and only those who are sleeping can hear it is the "Gospel of the Kingdom of God". Therefore, "Jesus said, Let the dead bury their dead, and follow me..." (Matthew 8:22).
Abram's son was Ishmael, and Abraham's son was Isaac. The Bible testifies of this, “With the slave girl is born according to the flesh, and with the free woman it is by promise” (Galatians 4:23).
People know Abram and Abraham as one person. It is like failing to distinguish between Jesus of Nazareth and Christ Jesus.
Abram and Abraham have one flesh, but there are clearly two persons who dwell in that flesh. The body is just a vessel that contains a person. Also, the Bible testifies of the flesh like this. “We know that if the earthly house of our tents is torn down, we have a house that is made by God, an eternal house in heaven, not made with hands” (2 Corinthians 5:1). It is just a short stay in the worldly tent house (in the flesh) as a stranger and a debtor to the flesh.
Therefore, the children of God are not of the world with Christ Jesus. It is the same as it is written, “They are not of the world, just as I am not of the world” (John 17:16).
The hometown that came out is the hometown of Abram, and a better hometown is the hometown of Abraham. Therefore, Abram's father is Terah, and Abraham's father is God in heaven. Regarding this, the Bible says, “If we had thought about the country we came from, we would have had a chance to return. But now they long for a better homeland, which is in heaven. Therefore, God is not ashamed to be called their God, but did something for them. He has prepared a city” (Hebrews 11:15-16).
One person cannot have two origins. This is to show us by the Holy Spirit that we are not one but two.
Also, the Bible distinguishes between the outer man and the inner man. He also divides these two into a man of darkness and a man of light. As the written word says, “God saw that the light was good, and God divided the light from the darkness” (Genesis 1:4).
But these two are always fighting each other as enemies in one flesh. It's like Esau and Jacob fighting each other in the womb. This is Jacob's persecution in Esau's house. "But just as at that time he who was born after the flesh persecuted him who was born after the Spirit, so it is now" (Galatians 4:29). Ishmael made fun of him until the day Isaac was weaned.
Therefore, God is not the God of Abram, but the God of Abraham, not the God of Ishmael, but the God of Isaac, not the God of Esau, but the God of Jacob.
So the Lord Himself said, “Have you not read that I am the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob? for God is not the God of the dead, but the God of the living” (Matthew 22:32). .
In the same way, Jesus of Nazareth and Christ Jesus were together in one body, and there was always contention in them. In other words, the Son of Man and the Son of God were in one flesh. Therefore, while he was on earth, he was always tested as the Son of Man. But there was also no sin because the Son of God was also there. This is Christ, the mystery of God.
Therefore, since David's lineage is the lineage that follows the flesh, there must be human thoughts in it, and it is clear that he will also be tested like us. Jesus of Nazareth clearly had a human will. It is written, “I can do nothing of my own accord; as I hear, I judge; my judgment is righteous, because I do not do my own will, but the will of him who sent me” (John 5:30). The Bible testifies, “My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from me; but not as I will, but as you will” (Matthew 26:39).
Here, if we deny that Jesus came in the flesh, we become the antichrist. The Bible makes this clear. It is written, “Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see if they are from God. For many false prophets have gone out into the world. By this you know the Spirit of God, that every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God, Every spirit that does not confess is not of God, and this is the spirit of the antichrist, you have heard that it is coming, but it is already in the world” (1 John 4:1-3).
Because Jesus was sent into the world to destroy the devil, He deserved to be made like men. This is because in order to get rid of the devil, that is, the serpent, the serpent must be put to death on a pole. The Bible shows it this way. “The Lord said to Moses, “Make a fiery serpent and put it on a pole, and everyone who is bitten, when he sees it, will live.” Moses made a bronze serpent and set it on a pole, and everyone who was bitten looked at the bronze serpent and lived.
Just as the Lord said, “Just as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, so must the Son of Man be lifted up” (John 3:14), the Son of Man who thinks with others (John 3:14). must die Also, because he was sent into the world to do this will of God, it is written about him, “I saw Jesus crowned with glory and honor through the sufferings of death, and this was done by the grace of God to all people. David's lineage died on a tree to support Abraham's descendants." (Hebrews 2:9) It is written, "Therefore, when he came into the world, he said, "Sacrifice and offerings have not been desired by God, but a body has been prepared for me. He takes no pleasure in burnt offerings and sin offerings as a whole." As it is written, I have come to do the will of God” (Hebrews 10:5-7).
However, he came not only through the lineage of David, but also as the Son of God, so he was tempted just like us, yet without sin. As it is written, “We do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who in every respect has been tempted as we are, yet without sin” (Hebrews 4:15).
Therefore, we also died in union with him. It is written, "The love of Christ compels us; we consider that, since one died for all, all are dead" (2 Corinthians 5:14). That's what you did. Also, the Adam here, who said, “For as in Adam all died, so in Christ all shall be made alive” (1 Corinthians 15:22) is making it clear that the Adam here is the last Adam, the last Adam, Jesus of Nazareth, who is the Son of Man.
Therefore, “If we have been united with him in his death, we will also be united with him in his resurrection. For we know that our old self was crucified with Jesus so that the body of sin may be destroyed, and we lest they be slaves to sin, for the dead have been set free from sin and justified” (Romans 6:5-7). This gospel is not the gospel of this world, but the gospel of that country, the eternal gospel.
