Title: The Gospel that died with him!
Contents
To our Lord Jesus, who became the end of the law with us to accomplish the righteousness of God, may the glory of God our Father be eternal and everlasting. Amen
According to the law of faith, the righteousness of God would not be achieved unless the Son of Man (son of man), who was born of blood, died, and he hung on a tree and became the end of the law. Therefore, once you die, you came into the world to do this will of God, which was ordained for man, and all that will be accomplished. "Then I said, O God, behold, I have come to do your will, as it is written about me in the scroll." (Hebrews 10:7) It is like Ham.
Then, can all of God's righteousness be accomplished with just that one person's death? no. Everyone would have to die together to bring them all into his glory. Therefore, in his death there are those who are united in imitation of his death. As it is written, “If we have been united with him in his death, we will also be united with him in his resurrection. For we know that our old self was crucified with Jesus, that the body of sin might be destroyed and be restored again.” lest we be enslaved to sin, for the dead have been set free from sin and justified” (Romans 6:5-7).
Then we can see now that it is God's work to actually find me united with him in faith. It is the Spirit of God, the Counselor, the Spirit of truth, who makes known that in his death our death is also present. Therefore, He said, “You will know the truth, and the truth will set you free” (John 8:32).
If there is only the death of Jesus and not my death, faith cannot be harmonized and we do not know what his rest is. Let's see what has been written about this. “Therefore, let us fear, though the promise of entering his rest remains, lest any of you fall short of it. Like them, we also have the gospel preached to us, but the words that we heard did not benefit them, because those who hear them are united in faith For we who have already believed enter that rest, as he said, as I swore in my wrath that they would not enter my rest. But this has been done since the creation of the world” (Hebrews 4:1). -3) If there is no “unified faith” that is united in the death of Jesus until my death, we cannot enter his rest. This is like a branch that cannot bear fruit by itself unless it is attached to the vine.
For his sake I lost everything and count it as waste, so that I might gain Christ and be found in him. I have no righteousness from the law, but it is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which is from God by faith.” (Philippians 3:7- 9) said.
We will notice here that "that you may have Christ and be found in him." If you do not gain Christ and find yourself found in him, you will be a dead child with only the head and no body. If there is only the groom and no bride, there can be no wedding feast, right? “Therefore, a man leaves his father and mother and is united to his wife, and the two become one flesh, and this is a great mystery, I speak of Christ and of the church” (Ephesians 5:31-32). When life will be one. As it is written, “Therefore, if ye have been raised with Christ, seek the things above, where Christ is seated at the right hand of God. At the time when Christ, who is our life, appears, then you will also appear with him in glory” (Colossians 3:1-4). You must also suffer with us so that we may be glorified together” (Romans 8:17).
By the faith that Christ Jesus died to sin and I am also found in him, I will have the experience of being raised with him when I have the real evidence of the faith that died with him. This is what the Bible calls “unity of faith”. By this unity we enter into his rest, as it is said, “For the dead have been set free from sin” (Romans 6:7).
Therefore, it is not a dead faith, but the faith that died with him will soon live and have momentum, and you will be able to approach God with a "true heart and complete faith." “I took the little book from the angel’s hand and ate it, and it was as sweet as honey in my mouth, but after eating it my stomach became bitter. He said to me, “You must prophesy again to many peoples and nations and tongues and kings” (Revelation 10: 10-11) “And I saw another angel flying in mid-air, having an everlasting gospel to preach to those who dwell on the earth, to every nation, kindred, tongue, and people” (Rev 14:6) “This gospel of the kingdom to all nations It will be preached in all the world as a testimony, and then the end will come.” (Matthew 24:14) Glory to God our Father, who is working until now for this gospel of the kingdom, and Christ Jesus, who is our life, whom he sent, forever and ever.
