Title: The Grace of Being One

The grace of the two becoming one (Acts 3:1-10)
Peter and John went up to the temple during the prayer time. In front of the temple's beautiful gate, a lame man, who had not been able to walk since birth, was begging. Peter looked at him with John and said to him, “Look at us.” When he did, he looked to see what he would get. Peter and John said to him who was asking for something, “In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, get up and walk.” They took their right hands and got them up, and they walked and jumped. And as I entered the temple of God, I began to praise God. And when many people saw this event, they were amazed that the man who was begging lame at the beautiful gate of the temple got up and started walking. How, then, were Peter and John able to overcome their different backgrounds, circumstances, occupations, and ages and become one? What is the secret of God's amazing works?
1. We become one through prayer.
Peter and John prayed together as one, preached the gospel as one, and went up to the temple of God as one. This amazing miracle of God happened because we prayed together. In the meantime, Jesus trained his disciples to pray. He also taught me the Lord's Prayer (Matthew 6:9-13). However, when they really should pray, they could not pray, so they were put into temptation (Matthew 26:40-41). But finally, Jesus said as a will to pray to receive the Holy Spirit (Acts 1:4-5). And finally, they gathered in Mark's upper room and tried to pray as promised (Acts 1:14). As a result, they truly became one, and when they went up to the temple to pray during the prayer time, an amazing work began to happen. Prayer is the secret to unity, and if we pray as one, amazing works will happen.
2. We become one through the Holy Spirit.
Although Peter and John were from different backgrounds, they were filled with the same Holy Spirit and walked together. The apostles who received the promise of the Holy Spirit became one with the same Holy Spirit. The promised presence of the Holy Spirit unites all people. Even though countries and peoples, languages, and births are different, the Holy Spirit makes them one body. Make it the Lord's Church. Let them drink of one Spirit (1 Corinthians 12:13). The Holy Spirit is thicker than water and thicker than blood. He makes us one with God's love, which is stronger than blood relations. The Holy Spirit is the one who unites (Ephesians 4:3). The evil spirit creates division and divides, but the Holy Spirit unites us in faith and unites us in truth. And he prays to become one and works to come to God (Ephesians 2:18). Therefore, in order to become one, we must be filled with the Holy Spirit, who makes us one and works together. Because only the Holy Spirit transcends all things, makes them one, and accomplishes a beautiful work.
3. We become one with our mission.
