Title: The Great Fall/Acts 9:1-9
Content The Great Fall/Acts 9:1-9
The experience of falling is painful. But among the falls there are great falls. It is a fall that occurred after a collision with God. God is a holy collider and assaulter (Exodus 19-24). God the Creator saves us by crashing into us and crashing us. In reality, each person is like a wild horse that runs infinitely in the orbit of his desire. Humans run like a chariot in the name of desire, or like a runaway engine with a broken brake. When God the Creator originally created man, he set the marginal utility of desire. All cars also have a set top speed when they are built. Those who live without close fellowship with God struggle to achieve salvation on their own in fear and anxiety. Raise your desire dashboard to infinity and run. When God collides with man, it is the time of salvation and the time of grace. The Reformation Day is an event in which the word of God, like a holy comet, collided with Luther's conscience and the conscience of the church.
According to God's Word on this Reformation Day, those who have lost their old self, old habits, and old human relationships are truly blessed. God's Word, if we study it properly and listen to it rightly, will lead us to a new life by holyly crashing our lives like a runaway locomotive and holyly frustrated. Dear brothers and sisters, have you ever been blinded by conflict with the Word of God? Have you ever been struck by the divine splendor of God? Have you ever made a reckless attack on God, and was then holyly counterattacked by the Word of God? All of these experiences are truly salvation experiences. Every bankruptcy, every fall, every confusion is good and salvation in Jesus who saved us while hanging on the cross.
prayer of promise
Loving Heavenly Father, thank you for crashing into us and stopping us at the cross of Christ when we are running like chariots of false and futile desires. The Lord collided with us and we were saved. The Lord has blinded our erroneous eyes to see you who is the light. During the coming week, I will live vigorously with the new eyes and ears that the Lord has opened. I will live by being refreshed with the food the Lord has provided. I prayed in the name of Jesus. Amen.
