Title: The Great Man's Prayer

Contents

Hallelujah!

Today, I earnestly pray for God's grace and overflowing love to the many members who have come to the precious worship service by the grace of the Lord. I hope that worship will always be a joy. That is living worship. A dead Ebae has no joy. God meets us through worship. And by speaking the word, He guides our life of faith. I pray in the name of the Lord that your life will always be guided through worship and the Word.

Today's sermon is titled “The Prayer of the Greater Man.” It's clear that I'm not referring to tall and bulky people when I'm talking about tall people here. No matter how small a child is, when he acts with the heart of his parents in mind, he will say that he has deep thoughts. Also, compared to my peers, my behavior is more mature now. He also expresses that he has a broad heart when he sees people who are more considerate of others than himself. The appearance of a child is mine. It is because they have not yet learned to think and be considerate of others. An adult is a person who can think of others even though his own standards are set. Of course, there are also children who are considerate of others, and adults who do not care about others and only know themselves. The big person I'm talking about is not someone who knows only himself, but a person with a broad mind who can care for, understand, and help others.

We believe in Jesus and become children of God. And live enjoying the authority of becoming a child of God. What is that power and what will it be? We believe that being able to worship God, that we can praise God, that we can receive God's help, that we can obtain God's grace, and that we can pray to God is the authority God has given us. .

So, we must enjoy this authority and live. Those who do not praise do not enjoy authority. Those who do not worship are refusing to become children of God. Those who do not pray do not enjoy the authority of becoming children.

Now, as saints, we must become people of prayer. However, faith should not stop as a child's faith, but should become a grown-up faith. You must know how to pray for others rather than praying for yourself. This is the prayer of the great man, and this prayer is the intercession prayer.

Today's Bible says that Nehemiah wept and prayed for his country when he heard the news in verse 3 that "the people in Jerusalem, the homeland of Israel, met with great tribulation and insulted, the walls of Jerusalem were destroyed and the gates burned." Nehemiah is a man of prayer. And he is an intercessor who prays. Because he had faith, he did not pray only for himself. I couldn't stay still when I saw the fall of my homeland Jerusalem and the great tribulation my homeland had. We fasted and prayed for the nation and nation to have mercy on God. It was he who offered the intercession prayer.

Intercession is the act of coming to God with the right to do that work in order to obtain His mercy and grace for others. In the English word for intercession, Inter means 'between', 'between, gap' and cession is derived from the Latin Gedere, which means 'go', that is, it is located in the middle of this side and that side and connects each other. The act of giving is intercession. So, intercession can be defined as 1) for those in need, 2) for those who qualify, and 3) as an act of pleading with God.

In today's Bible, we find Nehemiah's intercessory prayer. I hope that you will share with us what kind of prayer a great man who has grown in faith through the Word prays.

1. Nehemiah prayed for the nation (verse 6).

2. Nehemiah prayed for repentance (middle of verse 6)

3. Nehemiah believed and prayed that God would give him grace (verses 8-9).

Dear saints!

I hope that all of you will become great people. May your faith reach the level of maturity. And I hope your prayers will change too. Prayer for me Not only prayer for my family, but I want prayer to advance more and more. I, my family, my neighbors, my people, my country, my aspirations, all of humanity... I pray in the name of the Lord that you will become all the saints who pray more earnestly as a great person, realizing that intercessory prayer is what makes your faith bigger. .
