God's Hand
(Matthew 10:28-31; Luke 16:15)
Popularity is very important these days.(...) We use all sorts of methods to manage popularity. I think that gaining popularity is the greatest honor, reward, and success. You must please God. We must show ourselves well before God. (...) People applaud and praise us, but do not take responsibility for our future. The reason why we should be popular with God is because God claims our future.(...)
King Belshazzar blatantly insulted God by taking the vessels used in the temple in Jerusalem, drinking from them, and praising idols. People applauded King Belshazzar's arrogance. But out of nowhere, a finger appeared and wrote strange letters. Mene Mene Tegel Uvarsin... ‘Mene’ means to count and finish, and the double occurrence is for emphasis. ‘Tegel’ means to throw away the weight because it is not enough. 'Uvarsin' means that the country is divided and passed on to another. When God counted Belshazzar's deeds, it was said that he was going to get rid of it because it was insufficient.
This hand of God is God's great message and warning message of life that He shows to all human beings. (...) God's hand weighs the actions of an individual's family and nation, and judges if it is insufficient or overflows with sins.(...) )
What does God weigh?
① He weighs the sins of man.
Please believe that he is the one who examines life with flaming eyes and weighs every act of good and evil with an unmistakable scale.
② He also weighs human good deeds.
God does not only deal with our sins.(...) Good deeds are deeds that can save people.(...) The act of saving souls by evangelism is a great and good deed before God.
③ He weighs human sincerity.
God does not measure our sheep, but our devotion.(...) The way to express sincerity is shown by inclining our hearts.(...) It appears when we do our best. Amen.
