Among the nonsense quizzes children do, there is something like this. “What would happen if there were no stars in the sky?” The answer is, “There is nothing to see.” is.
Difficulties exist for everyone. There's a lot going on. There's a lot going on at home, and there's a lot going on in our lives. There are too many of them to count. People have all kinds of difficulties, big and small. There are always difficulties in our families, in our country, and in the days we live in this world.
However, the saints must overcome those difficulties well. That is why it is said that the life of a saint is the life of an eagle. Eagles are characterized by being able to ride the wind well. It's hard to just climb up, so when the wind blows, the eagle is a bird that takes advantage of the wind and climbs upwards with the wind. Saints are not discouraged when there are difficulties. If you overcome difficulties and use them well, you will receive greater miracles, powers, and blessings.
In fact, there is no doubt that suffering is not a good thing. It is recommended that there are no difficulties. However, if you handle difficulties well, handle them well, and overcome difficult trials well, you will experience a hundred times or a thousand times more grace and power than you would not face. In the high jump, you can't jump high if you just jump, but if you hold a pole, you can jump incredibly high.
Today, when we hold onto the pole of the difficulties of our lives and climb upwards like an eagle, great and wonderful grace will be given to our homes, our lives, this country, and everything we do.
Hannah, who is mentioned in today's text, also had difficulties. It was impossible to have children. Her husband still loved her and the family had no problems, but a woman named Peninnah despises Hannah. Poverty hurts, but being despised by others hurts. It is painful to not have a child, but if you despise the fact that you do not have a child, it is a great regret. Hannah became sad and distressed. There are three good solutions to our saints when difficulties arise.
1. You must depend on God.
Just as a child seeks his mother when he is hungry or sick, people should seek God in times of need. Anyone can. Relying on God when we have difficulties at home or in life changes our lives in a new direction. Proverbs 29:25 says, “The fear of man is a snare, but he who trusts in the Lord will be safe.”
When we are in trouble, God is the place we go to. When we face difficulties, only God can solve them. When you face difficulties, women seem to be comforted when they go to their parents' homes, and they think they will be comforted when they meet their friends, but they are not. It is better to go to your relatives when things are going well and not to go when things are bad. In difficult times, we must turn to God.
It is better to hide your shameful appearance from people, and it is better to confess the truth naked in front of God. When you are in trouble, please do not disclose everything in front of people as much as possible. It is easy for people to respect those who do well, but to despise and despise those who fail.
When we face difficulties, there is only one place to be comforted, a place to be solved, a place to receive grace and help, and that is to turn to the Loving God, Almighty God, who provides us with true comfort and strength. I believe that God's great blessings will come along with solving problems when we come to God.
2. We must pray.
Hannah went to the temple to pray. James 5:13 “Is any of you afflicted, let him pray, and if anyone rejoices, let him praise.”
When we are faced with difficulties, if we go before God, open the door of prayer, and have a deep conversation with God, all our difficulties will be opened to success. There is no need to hesitate that the door of prayer is closed. Romans 8:26 says, “In the same way the Spirit helps us in our weakness, and we do not know how to pray as we ought, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words.”
When we encounter difficulties, it is easy to get frustrated when we think only about difficulties. The good that difficulties bring us is that they bring us to God. There is no one who does not receive great grace for a person who has a loud cry of prayer before God. When you suffer, great and wonderful gifts will come along with your prayers. Hannah prayed earnestly before God like this.
3. Be patient.
James 5:11 says, “Behold, we call blessed those who persevere. You have heard of Job's patience and have seen the end of the Lord.” It means to persevere like Job when faced with difficult situations.
If Hannah bumps into Peninnah when she is in trouble, both are broken. The gourd will break if you hit it. Even earthenware will break if you bump into it. It is said that our bodies are earthen vessels, but when people meet and bump into each other, bad things happen to each other. However, after praying before God, I know that answers come from above, and I know that I have to endure all contempt, disrespect, difficulties, and various tribulations.
Dear saints,
We can't talk to anyone right now, but we definitely have our own difficulties. And many difficulties await us in the future. Sometimes someone like Peninnah makes it difficult, and sometimes our husbands, wives, and children make it difficult for us. But I hope you don't think of him as an enemy. Because of those people, we have the title to come before God.
Dear saints,
