Today I would like to share a word with you about the holy nature of God. God's holy nature is love. What is love? Arnold Toynbee talks about love. “Love is twofold. One is love, the desire to give. The other is love, the desire to take someone else's things. The love you want to give is to dedicate yourself and serve others. Love that robs others is selfish love for oneself. If the first love is unconditional love, the second love is conditional love.” The nature of God is the love he wants to give out of these two types of love, the love that is devoted to and serves himself, and the unconditional love. God's love has been embodied in us through Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ loved us even to the point of dying on the cross, shed His blood and water. There are no conditions for this love of God. It is unconditional love.
The second is the Word of God. Revelation 1:3 says, “Blessed are those who read, blessed are those who hear, and blessed are those who keep and do what they do.” Psalm 1 begins, “Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the wicked, nor stands in the way of sinners, nor sits in the seat of scoffers, but meditates on the law of the Lord day and night.” Says. Those who meditate on Jehovah's law day and night are known to be blessed. Bill Gates, the founder of Microsoft, is said to give back 95% of his fortune to society and leave only 5% to his children. In this way, Bill Gates was able to happily distribute his fortune to others because of his mother. Bill Gates' mother had him memorize the Sermon on the Mount from Matthew from an early age. He remembered the words of the Sermon on the Mount, “Give, and God will give it to you, shaking it and pouring it out.” Dear saints, I hope you will receive God's holy nature, that is, love and blessings, by meditating on the Word.
The last is through obedience. It was his obedience that enabled Isaac to receive God's blessing. Isaac followed his father to Mount Moriah, unaware that he was being offered as a burnt offering. Through obedience, Isaac received a hundredfold blessing from God that year in farming, and finally he was rejected. Conversely, Saul was cursed by God. Saul was not cursed from the beginning. The reason he was blessed, he was cursed because he disobeyed God. As we can see in Deuteronomy 14, God's precious blessing is when we take care of strangers, orphans, and widows, God repays them with heavenly things. God gives us the blessing of prosperity even in situations where our blessings seem to be broken, ruined, or difficult.
Dear brothers and sisters, in these difficult times, I sincerely hope that God's holy nature to love and bless us will be revealed to you through prayer, the Word, obedience, and helping those in need.
