The Holy Spirit Changes Me
John 3:8
The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear the sound of it, but you do not know where it comes from or where it goes. This is the case with all who are born of the Spirit.
The mice were electrically stimulated and stressed, and then placed in a transparent box with flowers and a box without flowers, respectively. After an hour, the mice in the box with the flowers are mostly asleep peacefully, while the mice on the side without the flowers are still buzzing.
When students take an exam, they put flowers in one class and nothing in the other class. Most of the students in the class with flowers answered that they took the test comfortably. Blood from laboratory rats and saliva from students were collected and investigated, and it was analyzed that the scent of flowers helped reduce stress.
The fragrance of Christ reduces the stress of life. Christians are to radiate the fragrance of Jesus. Christians are fragrant flowers. To do this, we must live a life led by the Holy Spirit every day.
Also, while the wind exerts an important influence on all things, the Spirit transforms the world-changing tools for the sake of it. These are the characteristics of people of the Holy Spirit.
First, the colors are different. The person of the Holy Spirit is seen in bright colors. “The people who sat in darkness have seen a great light, and to those who sat in the land and shadow of death light has shined” (Matthew 4:16). On the other hand, those who are under the influence of death are literally contemplating. There is no will, no hope, no activeness.
Even the person of the Holy Spirit can have different colors inside and outside. That is why he urges us to constantly examine ourselves, saying, “See if the light that is within you is not dark” (Luke 11:35). When the saints are filled with the Holy Spirit, peace and gratitude overflow in their lives, words, actions, and facial expressions. If you say you are in the light and a dark shadow appears on your face, you should be aware that it is rather grieving the Holy Spirit.
Second, it is delicious. You have poured out all the smelly and dirty things and filled them with new ones, so you have a new taste. The Bible says that the taste of taste is salt. “Salt is good, but if salt loses its taste, with what can you make it salty? Have salt in yourselves and be reconciled to one another” (Mark 9:50). ..
