Bible: John 14:16-24

In Luke 19 of the Bible, we find the story of Zacchaeus. Zacchaeus, as we know it, served as a notorious publican. So everyone around him hated Zacchaeus. But when he met Jesus, he was changed and he gave half of his wealth to the poor and promised to pay back fourfold if he had stolen anything from anyone.
So Zacchaeus changed. Then his external circumstances change as well. Seeing this, Jesus said, “Salvation has come to this house.” He said that Zacchaeus was also a descendant of Abraham.
The Holy Spirit is the one who changes people for the better. You can see this by looking at the disciples of Jesus. The disciples, represented by Peter, also became true disciples of Jesus who did not fear death after they received the Holy Spirit in Acts 1-2. I sincerely hope that it will be a time for all of us to receive grace while thinking more deeply about the Holy Spirit who transforms us.
In today's text, Jesus says, "If I leave, the Counselor Holy Spirit will come, but when the Counselor Holy Spirit comes to you, you will remember what I have taught you and will cause you to do what I have done.
During his public life, Jesus taught the truth, made him understand the will of God, convicts him of sin, and gave him power. That is why, even after 2000 years have passed, we can come to know God's will through the work of the Holy Spirit.
1 Corinthians 2 clearly states that God teaches us His will through the Holy Spirit. As the Holy Spirit works today, I believe that I will realize God's will for me through the work of the Holy Spirit.
The Holy Spirit also works among us to teach us what we do wrong. So he makes us repent.
The Holy Spirit empowers us to fulfill the mission God has given us. The English translation of the Holy Spirit is comfort. It is a combination of the word com and the word fort. By the way, the word com in English means to do together. So the Bible is the one who dwells in us. fort comes from the word 'force'. 'force' is force. The Holy Spirit is the one who is with us in strength and power within us. The Holy Spirit is with us today and encourages us. It is the work of the Holy Spirit who continually encourages us to believe in Jesus. The Holy Spirit continually encourages us to do good in us.
It is the Holy Spirit who is present among us today, sometimes giving us boldness when we are afraid, and showing us the promises of the Holy Spirit, so that we can live in hope.
Augustine, whom we know well, became a saint because of the prayer of his mother, Monica. After wandering for a long time, he repented and returned after reading Romans 13, “The night is deep and the day is near; put off the works of darkness, and put on the armor of light.” And he lived as a pastor for 35 years in a region called Hippo in the northernmost part of Africa. In this way, the Holy Spirit is the one who intercedes for me. “God knows our weakness, and the Holy Spirit prays for us with groanings when we do not know how to pray. Because God knows the will of the Holy Spirit, He hears the prayers of the Holy Spirit.” Romans 8:26-27 says.
The Holy Spirit also draws us into hope, empowering us to persevere.
It is said that there are three principles of ballroom dancing. The first is that one of the two must have a leader. The second is that the breath and emotions of two people become one. The third is that the two of them do a lot of training to make breathing and emotion become one. We must dance with the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit becomes the leader, I follow, and the breath of the Holy Spirit becomes my breath, and the emotions of the Holy Spirit become my emotions. To that end, I hope that we will always practice and live with the Holy Spirit.
