Title: The Household of God (Ephesians 2:19)
That is why the Lord came to this earth not to be driven out of the kingdom of God, but to create a family to live with in order to live together in the kingdom of God. Gather people who will have a family like me and people who will share the same thoughts and ways as I do. This is why the Lord died on the cross. That is why it is said that they are citizens with the saints and belong to the household of God. But there is something to be careful about here. Since we are a family, it is difficult to go out in such a way as to join forces. It is the logic of sticking to one organization. There is no other reason for doing this. Because they are seeking power. This view is not biblical. If we join forces and become one, I think that those who do not know Jesus will envy us and will not try to believe in Jesus by pressing our powers. One of these errors is the Crusades. Trying to subdue others through the strength of power is just like Peter slicing Malchus' ear with a sword. Being part of one family means that I will now walk the same path that the Lord has gone with.
Nevertheless, we say that we are saints and that we are of one family, and we want to play in a different town from the Lord. Obviously, there are many things in every church. There are evangelism work, church building, or missionary relief work, and many other events and programs. But there is no such thing as trying to follow the way of the Lord. We keep rationalizing the various things we are doing as following the path of the Lord. You are asking whether your work or business is not following the Lord, but whether you are living your life like the Lord, denying yourself and not being bound by the world. In the eyes of the world, we have to live our lives without seeing them as believing in Jesus in order to eat well and live well. Paul is trying to teach us how wonderful it is that we belong to God. These things that God has inherited are not simply that we have prospered in all things through God's protection, but that God has embraced me and made the kingdom of God into a being who gives up and lives in this world with riches and power.
The people of Israel who suffered the most in the history of the world were the people of Israel. But they were God's chosen people. It was hardship and hardship to return to them. But were they poor? no. They had God's love and grace. So they gave up on the world and lived. who are they It was Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, David, Moses, and such. These are the people of God's household and the saints that the world could not handle. We too are called to be such. Don't think about how we will win. God does. You are going to make me into such a person. This is the privilege of the saints.
