Sermons for Preaching

Title: The Humble Man / Proverbs 25:1-7

Verse 6...<Do not exalt yourself before the king, and do not stand in the place of great men.>

One of the noblest characters of God's people may be called Pharaoh. Today I am going to talk about that dog.

1. Unripe ideas and underdeveloped personality create pride

Iron Man Pascal said this. < A proud person is proud of himself and advertises himself. A person who is cunning, cunning, and doesn't listen to anyone, only asserting himself. And they live their lives in hypocrisy by advocating piety. There are many of these kinds of people among religious people, especially the clergy.

Why are religious people so proud and why are priests so? Rather, why are there people who should live more modestly than anyone else? It comes from religious pride. Because they cannot abandon the spirit of the Pharisees. Those who have the form of godliness but lack the power. This is because it has the appearance of a wolf in sheep's clothing.

So, he takes the lead in blaming his colleagues and blaming his brothers. If you just open your mouth, the winds of slander come pouring out, and the poison of the viper. Surely someone will be burdened and hurt. They prefer the law over grace, and enjoy conflict over reconciliation. They have the language of accusing a woman caught in adultery like the Pharisees, but they do not have the heart of Christ to forgive her.

--Isn't that what we are today?

2. People become proud when they are rich and humble when they are in trouble.

Proverbs 16:18...< Pride precedes destruction, and a haughty heart precedes stumbling.>

Proverbs 29:23...< A proud man will bring him lowly, but a humble heart will find honor.>

Isaiah 2:12...<For the day of the LORD of hosts will come upon all the proud and the proud and the self-confident, and will humble them, and you will save the afflicted people, and you will examine the proud and bring them down.>

--Let's not be too envious of wealth. Wouldn't it be better for us to be poor and humble?

3. Those who believe in us Jesus should have a wealth of humility

What are the saints' wealth? That's humility.

Psalm 147:6...<The LORD upholds the humble, but the wicked fall to the ground.>

I hope that you will live a blessed life by forming the image of Christ through humble life.
