Title: The Intellect of a Jesuit
Living life requires knowledge, appropriate emotions, and will to adapt to the times and environmental culture.
The attitude of a Christian who believes in Jesus must have a very special and powerful life intelligence that leads history, just as Jesus is different from the heads of many religions, and it must be a symbol of life for the world to be imitated by generations coming and going. do.
In the Old Testament, before Jesus came to earth about 2,000 years ago, God appeared to special people as a voice or as an angel and communicated His will. And in the system of the written law, He gave blessings and woes and guided the chosen people.
After that, Jesus came and spoke directly and put it into practice right in front of his eyes, making everyone realize the presence of God at once.
And after the Lord ascends into heaven, the Holy Spirit promises to be with us, and the church receives the Holy Spirit and is regenerated to live in God's intervention.
1. Understand (think) life in truth
26“The Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things and will remind you of all that I have said to you.”
When the Holy Spirit comes, you will be taught to believe in God and live in the truth of the Bible. When the Holy Spirit comes, he gives senses through people or spiritually and teaches them to live according to the truth (didavskw). Therefore, the church is a place where intellectuals do not make Jesus Christians out of any book or anything, but fundamentally learn through the influence of the Holy Spirit.
That is why if those who have not been regenerated by the Holy Spirit teach with knowledge only, there is no influence and there is no new work.
The church is a place where we listen to what the Holy Spirit is saying with our spiritual ears.
Revelation 2:29 “He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.”
When you become a Jesuit, your view of history changes.
We live our lives looking at where we come from, how we live, and where we go, even after death. In the past, we were driven by the trend of a world that was changing without a basis and endlessly, but now we understand and live life on the basis of promise.
Col 3:10 “Having put on the new man, who is being renewed in knowledge according to the image of him who created him.”
Religion is different. The value of happiness changes, and the knowledge of the whole world changes. So, the person's personality gradually changes.
2 Corinthians 5:17 “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has passed away; behold, the new has come.”
The standard of a normal Christian is a person with biblical thinking.
Thoughts must begin with the biblical basis, words and plans must. Being intelligent outside the Bible is inappropriate for a Jesuit.
Proverbs 21:30 “Neither wisdom nor understanding nor counsel can overcome the LORD.”
The Bible is the source of all wisdom and the special revelation and gift of God given as the channel of salvation and blessing.
2 Timothy 3:15 “And from your youth you have known the Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus.”
To know the Bible, you must read and listen.
Romans 10:14 “How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?”
Ephesians 4:13 “And we will all become one in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God, and come to be a perfect man, even to the stature of the stature of the stature of Christ.”
John 17:3 “This is eternal life, that they may know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent.”
When you become a Christian, the scale of thinking you observe in the world changes, and you start thinking only from the Word of God and make it the basis of your judgment. This is not a doctrine taught by force, but the renewed Christian mind.
2 Corinthians 13:8 “We can do nothing against the truth, but only for the truth.”
2 Corinthians 10:5 “Destroying all arguments, and every exaltation of the knowledge of God, and taking every thought captive to the obedience of Christ.”
Psalm 19:7 “For the law of the LORD is perfect and rejuvenates the soul; the testimony of the LORD is sure, making the fool wise.”
2. Live with the senses (emotions) of the Holy Spirit
When the Holy Spirit comes upon you, you will enjoy the peace of being freed from sin among various phenomena, and you will live a powerful life with joy and hope.
Romans 8:2 “For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set you free from the law of sin and death.”
John 20:21 "Jesus said again, "Peace be with you; as the Father has sent me, so I am sending you.
22 When he had said these things, he breathed on them and said, Receive the Holy Spirit.
Text, 27 “Peace I leave with you, my peace I give to you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled, and do not be afraid.”
The word “paravklhto”, spoken of in verse 26 as the Comforter, is another name for the Holy Spirit, called to one's side, mediator, comforter, advocate.
When this Counselor, the Holy Spirit, comes, you will know the Bible as the principle of life, and you will receive inspiration and the sense of victory in peace.
If you give him the Holy Spirit and receive it, he gives you peace, but it means that we will receive the peace of the Lord, which is not as the world gives, and the peace of the Lord who lived in peace under the Roman rule.
Peace and anxiety in the text are opposites. The eijrhvnh of peace is stillness, rest, prosperity, and stability of being one. However, the word anxiety (taravssw) refers to a stimulating and agitating emotion. The water is cloudy, turbid, and not clear.
The proof of being a Jesuit led by the Holy Spirit is that there is a clear answer to everything. Get the wisdom of God and give the right answer. The value of life and the judgment of the times become clear. The guidance of the Holy Spirit is the intellect and emotion of the Christian life.
1 Corinthians 2:11 "Who knows a man's circumstances except the spirit that is within him? In the same way, no one knows the circumstances of God except the Spirit of God."
12 We received not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit that is from God, that we might know the things God has given us by grace.
13 For we speak these things, not in words taught by human wisdom, but in what the Holy Spirit taught us, for spiritual things are discerned.”
Acts 1:8 “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”
3. Achieve your will (will, plan) through prayer
As some have misunderstood, Jesuits are by no means weak and not religious. It's as strong as ever. We are simply praying to live a victorious life with the intellect God has given us, without using our will of nature at will.
Just as a conscience that knows but does not act is of no value, if we know God's wisdom and do not do it, and if grace and miracles do not occur, we will not be able to achieve the effect of faith.
We must also pray so that we do not become discouraged in the negative aspects.
Matthew 26:41 “Watch and pray that you may not fall into temptation, the spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak.”
However, we must actively pray for God's protection and guidance.
Proverbs 8:17 “I love those who love me, and those who seek me earnestly find me.”
The original meaning of eagerly (rj"v;, shomhar) means 'to get up early, to be diligent'. In other words, it means 'to seek' without sparing effort, 'to seek diligently'.
Psalm 42:1 “As a deer longs for streams of water, so my soul longs for you, O God.
2 My soul thirsts for God, for the living God. When will I go out and appear before God?
Jeremiah 33:3 “Call to me, and I will answer you, and I will show you great and mighty things that you do not know.”
Matthew 21:22 “For whatever you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive it.”
We should pray with ignorance and pray without ceasing.
Ephesians 6:18 “And with all prayer and supplication, praying in the Holy Spirit continually, being watchful to this end, always making every effort to ask, asking for the sake of the saints.”
1 Thessalonians 5:17 “Pray without ceasing”
1 Samuel 12:23 “I will never sin before the Lord in ceasing to pray for you, and I will teach you the good and righteous way.”
The Lord prayed every day to teach and to do His powers, and there were times when he prayed with blood and sweat.
Luke 22:44 “Jesus prayed more earnestly and with all his might, his sweat became like drops of blood falling to the ground.”
We, too, should take action to move forward through such earnest prayer.
The Jesuits do not live their lives with the intelligence they have received from the world.
It is very important to pray for a victorious life, as the meaning of life begins in the truth of the Bible, which is a completely new law, guided by the Holy Spirit with daily meditation.
I pray that you and I will show the fundamentals of life and the secret of victory to the world every day by living with the Lord Jesus Christ, who has become the Prince of Peace, in our hearts, homes and workplaces.
