Title: The Joy of Jesus/Philippians 2:4

Contents The Joy of Jesus/Philippians 2:4

This morning 󰡔The Joy of Jesus󰡕

Yesterday morning, we discovered the fact that Jesus' heart was laid down like a spider's web in this text in Philippians 2:1-8, and we thought about Jesus' heart.

There are three scenes in the Bible where Jesus weeps as a sign of his sorrow.

First, in front of the tomb of Lazarus, he deeply lamented the death of the young man and said that Jesus wept.

The second is that our Lord looked down on the city of Jerusalem and wept.

The city of Jerusalem, which is pervasive in sin, is full of corrupt politicians of the Roman Empire, these Pharisees who claim to be the religious leaders of the Jews in Jerusalem, and those who are too white-washed tombs, do not know how much they sin against God and show their depravity. .

The Bible tells us that the Lord looked at the people of Jerusalem, like sheep that lost their shepherd, and wept, thinking of God's judgment when this sin was sanctioned.

Finally, according to the Lord's prophetic tears, around A.D. 70, by the Roman army, there was not a single stone left in the city of Jerusalem, and the city was in ruins as these Jews were so hungry that they were devouring each other's flesh. I did. Truly, you do not know how precious and precious the tears of the Lord are.

Third, the Bible tells us that the Lord's sorrowful tears wept bitterly all night in the Gaetsemane Garden. Although the Bible tells us that our Lord wept three times like this, as a great event in the Bible, Jesus rejoiced. laughed It is really hard to find words that express this kind of joy, which is said to have rejoiced.

Only one is recorded. Luke 10:21 - “Jesus rejoiced in the Holy Spirit”. This is said only once in the New Testament.

These words are Jesus' laughter and Jesus' joyful expression.

Your joy is your laughter, your joy. Truly, the laughter of the Lord, the joy of the Lord is not a formality or a pretense, and our human laughter is often ridiculed and scornful. There are times when he smiles in despair to hide his inner self! But the joy of our Jesus is the joy of the Lord, the laughter of the Lord, and indeed the laughter of the Spirit.

Jesus' laughter was the same as the unchanging laughter, the immaculate laughter, and the laughter of children because it is so pure and innocent because it has no spots, no spots, and no wrinkles.

Based on Luke 10:20, the joy of Jesus was the joy of salvation, and the Lord loved it so much as if a soul was being saved. I have already told you that there is a saying that saving one soul is greater than building a nation.

If one soul is well, the country is really you! So, as a Sunday School teacher who teaches children, I am teaching the president who I will set up this country as a new nation. If that soul deviates from this truth like this, if he becomes an evil leader of this country in the future, won't he become the kind of person who can overthrow this country? That is why the shepherd wanders in search of one soul and saves that soul! When a soul is changed and saved and raised as a child of God and a child of authority, he does not know what kind of world he will establish and lead the country. Therefore, we do not know how much Jesus was pleased with the salvation of one soul.

In Luke 15:5, it records the appearance of the Lord rejoicing and rejoicing on his shoulder when he found one lost sheep. When you find the lost sheep...

Everyone! When he finds his son who has gone home, the father loves him so much and is happy.

This is the gospel. It is God's love.

Based on Hebrews 12:2, the joy of Jesus is the joy of overcoming the sufferings of the cross. Jesus rejoices in suffering, overcomes those sufferings, and rejoices.

Then the Apostle Paul said in today's text to fill my joy, everyone! The joy here is not Paul's own joy. My joy is the joy of Christ. It means the joy of the Lord in you. It is to be filled with the joy of Christ in me.

The joy of the saints is the joy of the Lord. The joy of the saints is the joy of the soul.

The world rejoices in eating. Drinking, laughing out loud, singing, having fun, dancing, cuddling and scolding each other.

The joy of the kingdom of heaven today is not obtained through material things. It is not obtained through any pleasure in the world. The joy of Jesus is the joy of heaven, the joy of Jesus is the laughter of God, the joy of Christ is the Spirit of God, the redeeming grace of God, the saving love of one soul, through the eternal atoning love on the cross. The eternal joy of victory. The joy of eternal victory! God's Eternal Smile!

Therefore, Paul said, let my joy be in you; yea, let your joy be in me, so that this joy in me may abound. This means the joy of Christ Jesus.

Jesus is in Paul. Paul is in Jesus.

The heart of Paul is the heart of Jesus. Paul's intellect was full of the truth of Jesus.

Paul's epistles, revealed through his intellect, are full of Jesus' words, word by word. So is Philippians--Colossians is like that, and so is Ephesians. See First and Second Thessalonians. Everyone! The heart of Jesus! The way of salvation through the cross of Jesus! The power of the blood of Jesus! Resurrection of Jesus! The life of Jesus! The joy of Jesus!

The 14 points of Paul's epistles about Jesus' coming back into the world in thanksgiving are not really an interpretation of Paul's own intellect in every word. It is the intelligence of Jesus that occupies Paul's intellect. It is the truth of Jesus. Thus, these 14 epistles, written word by word through the intellect of Paul, are full of the gospel of Christ.

Christ in Paul, Paul in Christ, and it was the intelligence of Jesus that occupied and filled Paul's intellect. Paul's feelings, Paul's feelings, are full of Jesus' affection for Jesus' kindness and compassion. It is overflowing with sacrificial love, agape.

Human eros love loves to eat, loves to give, rejoices when received, and is just scolding when it is lost, hates to give, is satisfied with only taking, and God's agape love is satisfied with giving. I rejoice in giving. What if I lose? What if it gets stolen? When someone loses money and has their bag taken away, who would have taken this old man's bag because he was hungry? In it, I heard only the bible filled with the eternal and infinite gold of the kingdom of heaven, which is more precious than money and cannot be bought with billions of gold. Please take it with you, eat well and live well!

Everyone! Isn't it about rejoicing even when you lose, and rejoicing even when being taken away?

Even if I lose money, if I'm hungry, will you take my money too? Poor man, God must have given it to me because I couldn't save it! I can't give you what the Lord asks you to give, so even if I lose a million won in money. Even if we lose 100,000 won, we will only rejoice if we judge with the Lord's truth and His feelings. So thank you for your service. So even if you lose money, you should not lose your health. Therefore, even if wealth goes out because of this, our lives should not go out. Therefore, due to worry and anxiety. worry. unrest. It's all on the nerves when we conquer it with the joy of Jesus, folks! I pray that happiness will be yours anyway, and happiness will always be yours.

Paul's will is full of Jesus' will.

Paul does good according to the will of Jesus. Live a righteous life. Human decisions come from the will. The will of the apostle Paul is the will of Jesus! Paul's sensibility is the affection of Jesus! Paul's intelligence is the truth of Jesus! Therefore, I want you to believe that Jesus is in Paul, Paul is in Jesus, and therefore Jesus Christ is in me, and I am in Jesus.

Therefore, Paul's suffering was the Lord's pain. So, to oppose Paul was to hurt Jesus. The wounds of the saints are the wounds of the Lord. The joy of the saints is the laughter of the Lord. The joy of Jesus is a spiritual pleasure radically different from the joy of worldly pleasures. The joy of Jesus is unchanging love. It is gratitude that does not waver. The joy of Jesus is a joy that never dries up like a spring in a garden, and our hearts become the garden of the Lord. When the joy of the Lord reigns over our will, our sensibility, our intellect, folks! What greater joy could there be than this?

The joy of the Lord is the eternal joy, and the joy of Jesus is the eternal laughter of God.

Eternal happiness in heaven. The joy of Jesus is the foundation of heavenly love, gratitude, and eternal happiness. Saints! If you could live on this earth with the joy of Christ and live with a smile in less sorrow, who could be greater than this man?

The joy of Jesus is the thrill of eternal redemption and the song of salvation. The joy of Jesus is the hope of the world and the hope of mankind. Joyful things happened wherever Jesus went. When you go to a sad house, it turns into a house of joy. If you go to the house of pain, it is changed into a house of peace. If you go to the dead, you have the hope of being alive. The weeping brought laughter to the weeping, and the sick were healed, so the joy of Jesus took hold of the people and families. Miracles of joy took place in each home where Jesus stayed. Where Jesus stayed, sorrow and laughter, and a sad home turned into laughter and joy.

Dear family members! The joy of Jesus is our joy. do you believe

The joy of Jesus is my joy.

My Joy, My Hope - We sang hymn 82 yesterday morning.

Jesus! Jesus! I hope that you will have the faith that you can wake up with joy in Jesus in the morning and sleep with joy closing your eyes in Jesus at night. It is the joy of Jesus that makes us overcome even in the midst of suffering. The joy of Jesus comforts us in our sorrow.

The joy of Jesus is the source of our happy life. Lord! May your joy be my joy!

According to John 17:13, those who receive the word of the Lord's joy are those who receive the joy of Jesus. I say this to you, that my joy may be filled in you.

When we rejoice in the face of a dying disease, we must believe that we can overcome the disease, and that despair that is cured of the disease will turn into hope and sadness into laughter. Even in the face of the final despair of death, when I look to Jesus and receive the words of hope that Jesus gave me, the joy of Jesus takes over me, overcomes my hardships, and overcomes my death, the fact that God's amazing miracles happen. I pray in the name of Jesus that your hearts may be filled with the joy of the Lord in your hearts and at this miracle dawn, the dawn of change.

Let's pray.

Father! Thank you for giving me the joy of Jesus this morning.

Father! Let the heart of Jesus, the joy of Jesus, be completely ours! Father! May our souls wake up and overcome hardships in spiritual joy always!

Let me overcome sorrow! May the sick be healed! I believe in a new home and a new society, Lord! Thy joy, make our breasts spring up like springs of water, fill us with the laughter of God, and fill us with the laughter of Jesus Christ!

Thank you and I pray in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
