Serving the most precious thing in my life
Serving the most precious thing in my life
I long to serve the Lord!
Serving the most precious thing in my life
How beautiful is a life that puts joy in the Lord, a life that walks with the Lord! Who can take away the joy of those who walk with the Lord! If we live with the Lord who is the source of our joy, what do we not have? And what's the point if you don't have the Lord and you have everything! God sent us into this world to save us through the blood of Jesus, calling us to serve and rejoice in God. How happy it is to lift your eyes and look around you with God's sight. The conversion of members, the fruits of the mission field… What a joy it is to pour ourselves out like a drink!
IV. Conclusion and application
What will be left when we go to the Lord's kingdom and stand before Him in the future? What else do you have other than serving one church all your life, believing in the Lord and going out into the world and working hard? It is no small task to live in this world and serve one church so that wandering souls like us can meet the Lord and be transformed. That should be the intrinsic joy of our lives. Live this essential joy as our calling. This is what Paul exhorts. It rejoices to see our Heavenly Father use us to carry out His plan. One day we will all die and go to heaven to stand before Him. So, even if you have only complaints and complaints, lift up your eyes and look around with God's eyes and live with gratitude. The things that God has called us to change, the things that God speaks to us every time, and the fact that we are given a community to be with our members, these are all reasons for joy and thanksgiving because God's will is being accomplished.*
