Title: The Joy of Zion
Contents
The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me, because the LORD has anointed me to bring good news to the poor. He has sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and release to the prisoners.
Preach the year of the LORD's favor and the day of our God's vengeance, to comfort all who mourn,
All who mourn in Zion will be given wreaths for their ashes, the oil of joy for their sorrows, and the garments of praise for their sorrows; to get it
They will rebuild the places that were long desolate, they will rebuild the ruins of old, and they will repair the ruins of the city that have been destroyed from generation to generation.
The stranger will stand and tend your flock, and the foreigner will be your farmer and keeper of the vineyard.
But you will be called priests of the LORD, and they will call you ministers of our God, and you will eat the riches of the nations and boast in their glory.
You will get a double instead of shame, and you will rejoice over a portion instead of reproach, and you will get a double in your homeland, and you will have everlasting joy.
For I the LORD love justice and hate the robbery of iniquity; I will repay them faithfully, and make an everlasting covenant with them.
His descendants will be known among the nations, and his descendants among all nations, and everyone who sees them will acknowledge that they are the children of the LORD.
I will rejoice greatly in the LORD, and my soul will rejoice in my God, for he puts on me the robe of salvation and adds to me the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom wears yearnings and a bride adorns with her treasures.
As the earth sprouts, and as a garden sprouts what is sown there, so the Lord GOD will bring forth righteousness and praise before the nations.
* In Zion, there should be thanksgiving, praise, and joy.
Believe in Jesus and the existence of sorrow must be changed into the existence of joy.
As a result of Jesus' coming, we too can be filled with joy, victory, and beauty.
Let's live in Baekseok Church and spread the beautiful news of faith to the world.
Let us receive grace through the text that made such a change possible.
Be nurtured, be a disciple, be trained as a disciple, and have faith
Let's do our duty well
1. Because I received the beautiful news.
The prophet Isaiah 1 verses exactly the mission of the coming Messiah.
Now we have to live with this mission.
The first is to bring the good news to the poor.
(Verse 1) Here, the term “poor” means that they are physically and spiritually
It refers to those who are oppressed or who are aware of their spiritual bankruptcy.
beautiful news? It is the message of salvation, not condemnation and judgment.
To be transformed into a being of joy like wearing a wreath instead of ashes - - -
2. Because the broken heart was healed.
By comforting those who are in calamity and lameness,
It is Jesus who binds up those wounds.
Jesus the Messiah comforts all who mourn, turning their sorrows into joy
you change Especially in the last days, he washes away the tears of all the righteous.
You will identify them. (Revelation 6:10:18:20)
Revelation 21:4 says, "He wiped away every tear from their eyes, and there was no more death.
There will be no more mourning or crying or pain.
Because all the first things have passed.”
3. Because freedom is gained. Two kinds of freedom are described in the text.
The first is to get out of captivity. (Freedom to the captives)
Those who are bound by the chains of sin break those chains and receive spiritual liberation.
(cf. Romans 8:21, Gal 5:1, 1 Timothy 1:15)
The second is to restore the freedom of the body. (Release to the prisoners)
This freedom, both physically and spiritually, is entirely through Jesus the Messiah.
It can be completely fulfilled. The real Jesus is Satan (2 Corinthians 2:11) and
Captive to sin (Romans 3:23, 24) and death (2 Timothy 1:10)
You have allowed the release of our souls.
Not only that, but our bodies, which were weapons of iniquity and injustice,
restored to the instruments of righteousness (Romans 6:13), and through the resurrection of Jesus
It set our bodies free from death (not harmed by the second death).
(Rom 8:2, Rev 2:11)
Conclusion.
Let's live at the center of the church. (cf. Psalm 91:1-16)
