The key to happiness (Psalm 100:1-5)
As Einstein said, there are two kinds of people in the world. There are those who say that there is no such thing as a miracle, and those who believe that every day of their lives is a miracle. I said I belong to the latter. Let's confess that this year was also a series of miracles and a series of grace every day and give thanks to God who made us. In the 21st century, we must be living the best life in human history. However, in the question of whether they are happy with their current life, 35% of Americans 50 years ago answered that they were happy, but now it is down to 30%. Our situation is no exception. However, Bangladesh is the happiest country in the world. It has the highest population density in the world, an illiteracy rate of 90%, and a national income of 200 dollars. After all, it is proof that happiness does not depend on possessions, but on attitudes of the heart. It is because they have lost their gratitude (2 Timothy 3:2).
1. Gratitude is the key to a healthy life.
In the Talmud, the Jewish reading of life, the wisest person in the world is a learner, and the happiest person in the world is a grateful person. Gratitude is the key and secret to a healthy life. The lifespan of vertebrates is said to be six times that of the growing stage. The human growth period is 20 years, so the marginal lifespan is 120 years. However, the reason for not meeting the limit of lifespan is that active oxygen is released in the process of ingesting and digesting food, which accelerates the aging of the body. Ginseng, red ginseng, and wild ginseng have excellent antioxidant effects. The Bible introduces something that has a very great effect, and that is the persimmon of 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18. Ginseng is God's will for us and the secret to a healthy life.
2. Gratitude is the key to a happy life.
In the book that water knows the answer, while emphasizing the importance of words, if you put a glass of water in front of you and say, “Thank you, I love you,” water becomes the most beautiful hexagonal water. If we serve this, our aa will have infinite immunity. On the other hand, if you put a glass of water in front of you, get irritated and swear, the crystals of water will be shattered and if you drink it, it is harmful to our body. It is said that the effect of saying “I love you” and “Thank you” was twice as effective as saying “thank you”. Why does this happen? In the beginning, God created man in God's image and made him live in the Garden of Eden. It was a place where there was no tribe, a place full of happiness. The only words the people living here could say were thank you. The power of words is evident because the words thank you are words that acknowledge God the Creator. Saying thank you is like a sweet potato vine. When you say thank you, various blessings come up one after another like a sweet potato vine. (The story of Deborah Novil, who wrote the book The Power of Gratitude) Happiness is the fruit of the vine of gratitude.
3. Giving thanks is a sacrifice offered to God (Psalm 50:23).
A song of thanks is a sacrifice offered to God (Hebrews 13:15). Gratitude is the key to heaven's gates, and praise is the key to the court. Gratitude is a confession that God is our God, and that we are His creation, His property, His people, and the sheep of His pasture. Gratitude is a confession that God is good and that His love is eternal.
1) When we see grace, we become grateful.
In the Bible, thanksgiving is a synonym for grace, thanksgiving is synonymous with praise, and thanksgiving is a difference between thoughts and Korean characters. Open your eyes and see grace in your daily life. There is far more to be thankful for than there are to complain about. And being grateful for everything is a voluntary choice. Gratitude must be learned. You have to express your gratitude to show your ability.
2) Become a mature person who appreciates the thorns.
Instead of complaining that a rose has thorns, give thanks to an adult who is grateful that a rose blooms on a thorn. Thorns, or pain and suffering, become an opportunity for change and a channel of blessing when we are thankful. First, gratitude is the channel of answers.
3) Let's become a dimensional auditor who is grateful for the dream.
Let's go beyond the natural gratitude of being grateful for what we have received, and let's become a dimension of gratitude by sharing. Such a person is a person who resembles the heart of Jesus. At the Last Supper, the Lord took bread and a cup of wine and gave thanks. He was grateful that he could give himself for the sins of many. Gratitude will come to you and give you happiness as a gift.
