Title: The King, I, and People
Content Title: The King, I, and People
Bible: Matthew 21:1-11
Today's text is the day Jesus rode into Jerusalem on a donkey. Jesus could have just walked in, or he could have gone in shouting loudly with many of his followers, or he could have used many other methods to enter Jerusalem. Why did Jesus enter Jerusalem on a donkey? The reason was to show that Jesus is King. Jesus taught people, but he was not a teacher. Jesus prophesied the word of God, but he was not a prophet either. Jesus healed people, but he was not a doctor, and many people followed him, but he was not a revolutionary.
Jesus, He was King. A closer look at today's text
Jesus was controlling the donkey and its owner's heart. The disciples went to get a “donkey” for Jesus to ride on.
When I went to the place Jesus had taught me, I found a donkey tied to a string. When the disciples untie the string that tied the donkey, the owner of the donkey said, “Honey, why are you taking someone else's donkey?” What did the disciples say to this? They answered as Jesus told them to. The owner of the donkey asked no more at this one word, “The Lord wrote it.”
Didn't. Because Jesus had dominion over the master and the donkey. The incident is the fact that Jesus has control over the hearts of both humans and animals from afar. That was the proof of his kingship. There is one more proof of Jesus' kingship. This is the attitude of the people when they entered Jerusalem on a donkey. Believe that you have the authority of the children of God, the King of the world and of the universe (John 1:12). And be a ruler. Do not live according to the fashions of the world or be a slave to the devil, but reign by the authority of the children of God. How do you live as a king?
First, I hope that you will always live with Jesus.
It was a donkey carrying Jesus, an ordinary donkey that was not so important.
I did. But with Jesus on his back, things changed.
is. It is no longer an ordinary donkey, but a donkey carrying Jesus.
that has changed. Just like an antique auction
A 100-year-old violin isn't expensive. When it comes to the violin used by someone famous, the value is incomparably different. Who used it?’ adds value. As the donkey carried Jesus, it lost its freedom and it must have been difficult to walk. But what Jesus did, that is, to have a king, was more precious than any other work, and the cost was enormous. People took off their cloaks and spread them on the ground, and they also spread palm branches on the ground, showing the greatest respect. But it was the donkey on which Jesus was trodden. When we live with Jesus in this way, there is glory, praise, and emotion. His life always reveals only the glory of God.
Second, do your work to save people.
Just as Jesus saved us, we must save the world. In today's text, people say, "Hosanna! He cried out, "Son of David, blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord." What does 'Hosanna Hosanna' mean? Hosanna means “save me”. We must all evangelize what pleases God this year. I hope that you will mobilize every family, district, and district so that you can meet the Lord who has come as king and know that you are making him king. You all live with Jesus. I hope that you will become great ministers who not only live while tasting his glory and power, but also find Jesus in your appearance and save the people of the world who cry out for help. Amen.
