Title: The Kingdom of God Is Among You.
Content □ When will the kingdom of God come?
In verse 20 of today's text, the Pharisees came to Jesus and asked, When will the kingdom of God come? This shows that the Pharisees were also waiting for the kingdom of God and were interested in the kingdom of God. However, their interest was not in what the essence of the kingdom of God was, but when the kingdom of God came. But the Lord did not tell them about the time and season when they asked when the kingdom of God would come, but he said that the kingdom of God does not come with a view. This means that the kingdom of God is not a political kingdom that can be seen with human eyes, but a spiritual kingdom. At that time, however, the Pharisees and many Jews understood the kingdom of God as the political rule of the Messiah. Therefore, God's kingdom, which will be achieved through the coming of the Messiah, was understood as liberation from the political oppression of Rome.
□ The kingdom of God is among you.
But the Lord said that the kingdom of God does not come with a view, and furthermore, that the kingdom of God is within you (verse 21). Because the kingdom of God is not a spatial concept, the kingdom of God is Because it is not a human concept, it is impossible to say that the kingdom of God is here or there.
Then what is the concept of the kingdom of God? It is the reign of the King, the Lord. We say that the place where the reign of the Lord comes is the kingdom of God. Therefore, wherever the Lord the King reigns, it is the kingdom of God. When the reign of the Lord the King is established in our hearts, the kingdom of heaven in our hearts is established. So when did the kingdom of God begin? The kingdom of God began when Jesus came to this earth. More precisely, it began with Jesus dying on the cross and resurrecting to pay the price for our sins. That is why Jesus told the crowds, “There are some who will see the kingdom of God before they die” (Luke 9:27), and when sending out the Seventy, “Know that the kingdom of God is near among you” ( Luke 10: 11) said.
So what are the signs of the kingdom of God?
It is said that the kingdom of God has already begun among you, so what will happen when the kingdom of God comes among us?" If I cast out demons by the hand of God, then the kingdom of God has already come upon you. .” (Luke 11:20) The sick were healed, and the demons
