The kingdom of God is within you (Luke 17:20-21)
Jesus taught his beloved disciples to prepare for building the kingdom of God by being alert and awake, worrying, and praying because the kingdom of God is near.
The Pharisees rejoiced at Jesus' teaching that the kingdom of God was at hand.
Seeing that Jesus told his disciples to pray because the kingdom of God was near, I expected a beautiful and magnificent kingdom to be built on this earth.
The Pharisees were so curious that they asked Jesus,
When will Jesus' kingdom come?
Jesus' answer to their question did not solve their curiosity,
The Pharisees gave an even more cryptic answer,
Through the words of the text given to us today, I hope that you will build the kingdom of God in your hearts as you look at the kingdom of the Messiah that will be built when the Lord returns.
1, The construction of the kingdom of God was the concern of the Pharisees,
The life of a saint who lives while waiting for the Lord to come again should not be a life in which life and faith are dubious,
Living with the thought that if it goes well, we will become the masters of the kingdom of heaven, and if not, living rightly will be a blessing to our descendants
If you think according to the text, you may be living like the Pharisees who were always the object of Jesus' rebuke.
Their whole life was to seize power and live on this earth that had nothing to do with salvation,
It is not by our will that we become children of God by believing in Jesus as our Savior, but by the will of God.
He called us according to God's will, made us children of God, and poured out the Spirit of adoption who will call God Father
Then we must fulfill our mission as God's people and live
Because we do not know the relationship between God and me, the relationship between God and people is living in the same way.
In other words, the hope of heaven is hidden in the mist and only interested in the things of the flesh.
Therefore, the clear and visible hope of the kingdom of heaven is only visible and invisible and only the hope on the rotting earth is clearly visible.
What's more dangerous is that the temporary blessings of earth can be mistaken for the lives of God's people who have been saved.
As the Pharisees thought, it is not the kingdom of God that one nation will fall and a new nation will be established on this earth.
I bless you in the name of the Lord that you will not be satisfied with the things that are done on earth, but that you may be victorious with faith that expects praise and reward by fulfilling your mission as God's people while giving thanks for your name that will be written in the kingdom of God.
2, the kingdom of God is not a kingdom seen with the naked eye,
How will the kingdom of God come?
In the last days, tempting spirits will appear to tempt God's people and cause them to fall.
When we see the saints who fall under the temptation of Satan, it is not the believers without faith that fall, but the saints with good faith.
Even though I was working hard in my prayer life, doing volunteer work, and living as a faithful worker, there were cases where I fell.
It's not because you don't have faith, it's because you fall while being careless.
Saints must always prepare and live so as not to be exploited by Satan,
The Lord said,
Luke 22:46 "He said to them, "Why are you sleeping? Get up and pray, so that you may not fall into temptation."
Satan also disguises himself as an angel of light to make God's people fall.
He also performs knights and miracles,
Jesus Christ is here and there
If possible, I try to make God's people fall and make them children of the devil.
The Lord saw Satan's schemes to make Peter fall
Luke 22:31 “Simon, Simon, behold, Satan has demanded to sift you as wheat.”
Luke 22:32 “But I have prayed for you that your faith may not fail; after you are converted, strengthen your brother.”
Satan asked the Lord to tempt Peter and make him fall,
The Lord prayed that Peter would not fall from the faith,
Peter was a good disciple,
He was a disciple who had faith to receive praise,
Peter, a man of such faith, was the subject of Satan's test
Let us not be vigilant,
No one can overcome the temptation of Satan unless the Lord intercedes for me.
Romans 8:26 “In the same way the Spirit helps us in our weakness, for we do not know how to pray as we ought, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for us with groans too deep for words.
Please do not miss the kingdom of heaven that you can feel through your skin in your life.
He said that the kingdom of God does not come with sight (Luke 17:20).
3, the kingdom of God must be within me
The Lord who establishes the kingdom of heaven said,
There are words that people cannot believe, there are words that cannot be trusted,
But the words of our Lord are not false, not even one jot or one tittle, nor make any mistakes.
The kingdom of God cannot be established until all the words of the Lord are fulfilled.
Therefore, even if no one in the world believes, you and I, who have been saved in Christ Jesus, must believe the word of the Lord.
“The kingdom of God does not come with sight, nor can it be said that it is here or there, for the kingdom of God is within you.”
The kingdom of God is not a kingdom from the outside, it is a kingdom from within.
When will the kingdom of God be established?
The kingdom of God is established by the Holy Spirit in me,
1) Temple of the Holy Spirit
1 Corinthians 6:19 “Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own?”
2) Receive the Holy Spirit as a gift
Acts 2:38 “Peter said to him, “Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.”
3) Salvation
Philippians 1:19 “Because I know how to bring me to salvation through your supplication and the help of the Holy Spirit of Jesus Christ.”
4) Fellowship of Saints
2 Corinthians 13:13 “The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all.”
Saints!
The kingdom of God is not a kingdom outside, but a kingdom within your heart.

Do not be deceived by Satan's temptations, but give thanks and rejoice for the kingdom of God that is being established
May the kingdom of God be established day by day in your hearts by rejoicing.
