Title: The Kingship of Jesus Christ

Contents

Bible: Matthew 21:1-11 Sermon: The Kingship of Jesus Christ

Jesus is the Apostle and Christ sent by God into the world. When God sends, He sends it with the authority and power of heaven. Jesus entered Jerusalem and acted with the authority of king, priest, and prophet.

1. The Kingship of Christ (1-11)

At least three barriers must be crossed for the apostles to untie the colt for the king to use.

?You have to untie the chains handed over to Satan, bound and bound.

?The donkey and the colt must be separated from being together - and the owner who has established affection and affection must allow it. - The owner's heart must be open.

It is a spiritual battle to have to work for Jesus and the gospel by taking away the things that were handed over to Satan. However, with the victory of Jesus Christ, the power of Satan has already been trampled underfoot, so we must release it by proclaiming and witnessing the name of Jesus proudly with the apostleship. The glorious fact used by the king is the fulfillment of the word spoken by the prophet. The owner's heart is opened when it is clearly blueprinted that it is biblical to use for the sake of Jesus and the gospel.

If we do not live according to our thoughts but follow Jesus' commands, everything will work out and come true.

2. The priesthood of Christ (12-17)

After entering as king, Jesus faithfully performed the duties of a priest in the temple. The next day he cursed the fig tree as a prophet.

When Jesus entered the temple, he did something strange that the priests would not normally do. In my house of prayer, in the temple, he drove out and overturned the traders, the money changers' tables, and the chairs of those who sold doves. When the praying people disappear in the temple and religious people gather, it becomes a den of robbers. Religious acts in the temple to pursue self-interest are just commercial acts, like illegal street vendors. He rebuked that the temple, which alienated the disabled and the sick, and focused only on commercial activities for the benefit of religious people, was no different from a den of robbers. Jesus left the temple because there was no prayer, the weak could not be healed, they could not stay in the den of robbers filled with hymns of praise and traders.

3. Christ's prophetic authority (18-22)

Jesus saw a fig tree standing by the roadside, and when he cursed that it would not bear fruit forever, because it had no fruit and had only leaves, the tree withered. The power of Jesus Christ is the power of a prophet. The truth spoken by the prophet will come true and the power of prophecy will be revealed.

The fig leaves, which were used for the Adam couple's skirts, were used for religious purposes to cover up and cover up human shame and iniquity. Jesus rebuked and cursed religious hypocrisy. This tree was used for educational purposes to curse the religion of Israel.

Jesus is a prophet with the authority of teaching, who teaches the profound truths of the kingdom of heaven even with a wild flower, a bird in the air, a tree, and even small things.
