Title: The Last Blessing of the Beaten

Contents

2007' Lecture on Revelation from the pulpit of the tendency (43.44)

"The final blessing of those who are sealed"

Revelation 7:15-17

1. It is a blessing to be before the throne of God.

Revelation 7:15 says, “Therefore they are before the throne of God.”

Here, ‘the throne of God’ is the name of the throne of heaven, the footstool of the Lord. This throne was called the throne of grace, the throne of glory, the throne of holiness, majesty, justice, and mercy (Revelation 4).

That Old Testament queen of Sheba visited Solomon's palace and throne, and saw Solomon's servants always listening to his wise words before the king, and marveled at how blessed he was.

But what about the glory of sinners when they stand before the throne of God's grace, the throne of holiness, clothed in the clothes of righteousness obtained by free grace?

Psalm 17:15 says, “I will see Your face in righteousness; when I awake, I will be satisfied with Your image.” Revelation 22:4 says, “They will see his face, and his name will be on their foreheads.” They were those who saw God Himself according to Matthew 5:8.

The throne of God was their lifelong desire. Now, they can't become strangers with dark blood and crypt.

It is an eternal welcome It is a welcome reception of glory. It's a quiet settlement.

2. It is a blessing to serve God without ceasing.

Revelation 7:15 says, “And he served God day and night in his temple.”

The word 'serve' (latreu, w) here means 'to worship', 'to make an offering', and 'to become a servant', which means worshiping God and serving him.

‘His temple’ is the royal road of glory, that is, heaven. Heaven itself is a temple. Serving God in the temple is characteristic of the priests. Now, there will be no special priests at all. Everyone becomes a priest who serves God. But this sacrifice is not a sacrifice for sin, but an offering of thanksgiving and glory. This is the privilege, the honor, and the eternal blessing of those who have been saved.

“Serving day and night” means worship without ceasing. Now they consider it all to serve God and enjoy him for ever and ever. Indeed, as Psalm 84:10 says, “A day in your courts is better than a thousand elsewhere; it is better to be a gatekeeper of my God than to dwell in the tents of the wicked”.

The complete freedom of worship, the eternal divinity of worship, and the full joy of worship are realized. Now, the painful pain of being persecuted, driven out, and killed because of worship will disappear forever.

The entry of the Gentiles into the earthly temple of Jerusalem was strictly restricted. Even an Israeli could only be an innocent man over the age of 20. Also, even if the Israelites were to enter, they could not enter the priest's court.

There is no distinction between Gentiles and Jews in the heavenly temple that is now unfolding. There is no discrimination between men and women, between servants and masters, between the rich and the poor.

An uncountable great multitude from every nation, tribe, people, and tongue! A bunch in white! All those who hold the palm tree in their hands will be part of this glorious congregation. There they serve and rejoice in serving the King of glory and the King of righteousness, Jesus Christ.

It is a wife's privilege and pride to serve her husband, her husband. Serving the king is the privilege of the subordinate. Serving the master is the honor of being a disciple. Serving God is a spirit and blessing that only the great crowd in white robes received.

Serving God day and night! How heartbreaking is this? Aren't they the ones who suffered painful humiliation for not serving other gods, creatures, or people on this earth other than God? Now, complete freedom has come to their worship.

3. It is the blessing of receiving the protection of glory.

Revelation 7:15 also says, “He who sits on the throne will pitch his tent over them.”

The word skhno (w), which means ‘to pitch a tent’, means ‘to pitch a tent’, ‘to encamp’, ‘to dwell’, ‘to live’, ‘to dwell together’. This means that God's own glory (Shechinah) secures them. This presence of God's own glory is often seen in the Old Testament and New Testament.

When the wise men of the East came into contact with this glory, they knelt down and worshiped (Matthew 2:1-12). When John the Baptist, Peter, James, and John encountered this wonderful glory, he was bound to become an inevitably messenger. When Saul encountered this glory on the road to Damascus, he fell down, fell on his face, and was in darkness, and he met Jesus in front of the Spirit. After that, he was forced to become a servant of Jesus Christ (Acts 9:20).

Now a crowd of fourteen and forty-four thousand in white are now full of this glory. Isn't the glory of God itself their tent?

What is the curtain of glory for us today?

it's god
