Title: The Last False Prophet
Contents br> The Bible prophesies of human history and the end of the earth.
“For this reason the world at that time was destroyed by the overflowing of water, but by the same word the heavens and the earth were kept for fire, reserved for the day of judgment and destruction of ungodly men” (2 Peter 3:6). -7)
“But the day of the Lord will come like a thief, when the heavens will depart with a loud noise, and the elements will be dissolved with scorching fire, and the earth and all that is on it will be revealed” (2 Peter 3:10).
“Look and yearn for the coming of the day of God. On that day the heavens will be burned and dissolved, and the elements will be melted with scorching fire, but just as he promised, we look forward to new heavens and new earth, in which righteousness dwells.” 2 Peter 3:12-13)
“And I saw a new heaven and a new earth, and the first heaven and the first earth passed away, and the sea was no more” (Revelation 21:1).
At the same time, the Bible also foretold what would happen in the last days. One such event is the emergence and activity of the “false prophet”. Originally, prophets were people who communicated God's commands, blessings, counsel, and judgments on behalf of God. They acted as God's spokespersons. The Hebrew word for prophet is “butterfly”, which means “one who announces,” “one who sees,” “one who announces God’s commands,” “one who foretells future events,” and “one who sings hymns.” Prophets told people to say things that sound good to them or not, and when God tells them to speak, they tell them exactly what they say.
In the Old Testament era, there were prophets such as Moses, Joel, Amos, Daniel, Hosea, Jeremiah, Nahum, Ezekiel, Samuel, Micah, Habakkuk, Micaiah, and Isaiah.
In the Psalms, David describes the coming Messiah as “the prophet.” Prophets have always been needed in every age. However, the Bible does not only speak of “prophets”. He also spoke of “false prophets.” There has never been a time without false prophets. For example, in the time of King Ahab in the Old Testament, there was only one true prophet, Micaiah, and the false prophet, Heekiah and his 400 companions, deceived the king and the Israelites. When the true prophet Jeremiah was prophesying the word of God, the false prophet Hananiah colluded with the worldly power and wielded power, causing great suffering to Jeremiah. Balaam in Numbers 22 is also a false prophet who cursed God's people because he was greedy for bribes offered by the enemies of God's people.
It was not only in the Old Testament that there were false prophets. It was also in Jesus' day. They were the company of the high priests, the company of the priests, the corrupt Pharisees, the rabbis, the Sadducees, and the scribes, the scribes. It was also in the days of the apostles, when the apostles preached the gospel. These were the Jewish legalists, the circumcisionists, and the false brethren of the Nicolaitans.
Jesus said that in the last days, many false prophets will appear and deceive many people.
“Many false prophets will arise and deceive many” (Matthew 24:11).
“False christs and false prophets will arise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect” (Matthew 24:24).
As Jesus said, there will be many false prophets in the last days. But many of these false prophets are incomparable to the false prophets who will eventually appear.
Who is the last false prophet?
▲ He will rule over countless people.
“I saw another beast coming up out of the earth” (Revelation 13:11).
In the words of this prophecy, “another beast” is the last false prophet, and “coming up from the earth” means to rule the earth, and is revered by countless people living on the earth, and countless people on the earth follow him, and he It means to rule them.
“Then the angel said to me, “The waters which you saw where the harlot sits are peoples and multitudes and nations and tongues” (Revelation 17:15).
“And the woman you saw is a great city that rules over the kings of the earth” (Revelation 17:18).
▲ He masquerades as a Christian pacifist.
“It has two horns like a lamb” (Revelation 13:11).
The Lamb means the Lamb, that is, Jesus, so the last false prophet will appear in the Christian context of Jesus. The horn that “has two horns like a lamb” is a horn that is of no use, and he will appear as a disguised pacifist with no army and no weapons.
“Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves” (Matthew 7:15).
▲ He speaks like Satan.
“He spoke like a dragon” (Revelation 13:11).
The word “speak like a dragon” means “speak like a dragon,” that is, like Satan. “He slain the dragon, the old serpent, the devil and Satan” (Revelation 20:2).
The last false prophet will speak contrary to the Bible, instill false Bible doctrines into countless people, and spread the spirit of Satan. When the time comes, you will be free to speak anti-God, anti-Christian.
▲ With the permission of the Antichrist, he will exercise the same power in the world as the Antichrist.
“He exercised all the power of the first beast before him” (Revelation 13:12).
In these words, “the first beast” is the last antichrist, the real ruler who rules the world, and “exercises the power of the beast before him”, meaning that the last false prophet will become the servant of the antichrist and take his power. It will be delegated and will be exercised in world politics.
“I saw a woman (the last false prophet) riding on a scarlet beast (the Antichrist)” (Revelation 17:3).
▲ The last false prophet will make everyone in the world worship the world ruler Antichrist.
“And made the earth and its inhabitants worship the first beast, and the deadly wounds were healed” (Revelation 13:12).
In this verse, “the first beast” is the last antichrist, and it is in Revelation 13:1 that he is recorded as the beast.
“I saw a beast coming out of the sea, with ten horns and seven heads, and on his horns ten crowns, and on his heads blasphemous names” (Revelation 13:1).
Also, the phrase “he who is healed of the deadly wounds” is also the last antichrist. The word for this is Revelation 13:3. “One of his head was bruised and seemed to be dead, and when his deadly wound was healed, the whole earth marveled and followed the beast.” You're going to order all things and people, and you're going to do some sort of action. Soon, the Antichrist will be revered as a living god, and any person, anywhere in the world, will make an offering to him and worship him. He is a great miracle worker. “It performs great miracles, and even causes fire to come down from heaven to the earth in front of men, and deceives those who dwell on the earth by performing the miracles that were given to them before the beast” (Revelation 13:13-14).
▲ The last false prophet will perform “great miracles” according to the Bible. It's not a trivial transfer. It is a “great miracle”. It's a huge transfer. He even gathers thousands of people in a plaza or in front of a TV set to perform a miracle, and even performs a miracle, causing fire to fall from heaven and descend to the earth. This miracle was only once in the Old and New Testaments, and it was a thrilling miracle performed by the power of God when Elijah confronted the prophets of Baal and Asherah of Jezebel on Mount Carmel. However, the last false prophet will show the same miracle to countless people. Of course, the purpose is to deceive everyone on this earth into worshiping the Antichrist. Who will not be deceived in the face of such a great miracle? The miracles he performed are, the Bible says, “the miracles he received before the beast.” The Bible said that the “beast,” or “antichrist,” receives from the “dragon,” Satan, all authority he does.
“Because the dragon gave power to the beast” (Revelation 13:4).
Regarding the fact that the last false prophet will perform miracles, the Bible says:
“And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs, coming out of the mouth of the dragon, and of the beast, and of the false prophet, who are spirits of demons, who performed miracles to go to the kings of the whole world, and to bring them for war in the great day of God the Almighty. gathered” (Revelation 16:13-14)
“The beast was taken, and the false prophet who performed miracles before him was also taken, who with miracles deceived those who had received the mark of the beast and worshiped his image, and they were both thrown alive into the lake of burning brimstone” (Revelation 19:20).
▲ He engages in fanatical activities for antichrist idolatry (deification).
“He deceived those who dwell on the earth by performing the miracles that he received before the beast, saying to those who dwell on the earth, ‘Make an image for the beast that was wounded by the sword and came to life. made the image of the beast to speak, and to put to death any who did not worship the image of the beast” (Revelation 13:14-15).
▲ The last false prophet orders the creation of an antichrist idol first.
“Tell them that dwell on the earth, ‘Make an image for the beast that was wounded by the sword and came to life’” (Revelation 13:14-15).
“The beast that was wounded by the sword and rose to life” is the last antichrist. Revelation 13:3 already speaks of the Antichrist, saying, “One of his head was bruised, and it appeared to be dead, and the deadly wound was healed, and the whole earth marveled, and followed the beast.” When a false prophet orders the establishment of an antichrist idol, the world is in a state where it cannot refuse his command. Because the Antichrist was attacked by an assassin and almost died, but after he miraculously resurrected, the people of the world were fully following him,
