1. The Purpose of Healing: Faith
2. The Cause of Healing: Faith
3. The Result of Healing: Faith
purpose :
There is a clear purpose in God's special healing of the sick.
It is to make people believe in the kingdom of God.
What is the kingdom of God? It is a country where God Himself rules. A country where the devil cannot work. The kingdom of the Son of Love (Christ).
Not a land of curses, but a land of forgiveness and grace. The land of eternal life. A country where God's law is enforced.
“In him you also, when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation, and believed in him, were also sealed with the promised Holy Spirit, to be the guarantee of our inheritance, to redeem what we have obtained, to the praise of his glory.” (Ephesians 1:13-14)
cause :
All of Adam's descendants are by nature under the Adamic curse. He was sold to evil and cursed, and his descendants were born between the curse of his first loss of humanity and delayed biological death. Therefore, all his descendants are under Adam's curse, but they will be born and live on this earth with a single hope of "save from evil" or "victory in the fight against evil." Therefore, getting sick and dying of old age is an unavoidable fate for the people of this earth who are cursed.
But God allows us to move from the place of the first man, Adam, to the place of Christ, the Lord of life, so that we can receive healing and eternal life. The translation is through faith. Jesus Christ He became the sacrifice on the cross for our sins and transgressions, and we just need to believe that our sins (death) are forgiven through him.
In the past, we all lived by adding our own sins in the name of Adam, the object of curses and death, but now, through faith in Christ, we have crucified our old self and put on a new person by the grace of Christ. Therefore, we are freed from sin, disease, and death.
Believing the truth of salvation like this is the cause of healing.
In other words, the cause of healing is not in me, but in Christ, the Lord of life. It's not that I'm good, I believe well, that I get health and eternal life. What we have in Christ, we receive by grace.
He suffers for us, and he puts death on our behalf, so that we are healed, and we pass from the curse and death to life.
Believe it. That way you get refreshment.
“In the midst of them, we too all lived in the lusts of our flesh, doing the desires of the body and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, like all others. He raised us up with Christ, and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, that by means of His mercy toward us in Christ Jesus, He might show in generations to come the exceeding riches of His grace. You have been saved, and this does not come from you, it is the gift of God." (Ephesians 2:3-8)
result :
The result of healing is also faith.
The result of healing is that we confirm our faith. I have believed well and am thankful that I will never go back to my old self, who struggled for mortal life again, and I am determined to live for the kingdom of God. And we will be thankful for the grace we have received and think about how to share the greatness of that grace with our neighbors. Therefore, faith is transmitted from me to my neighbor. Therefore, the result of healing is also faith.
“Therefore, do not let sin reign over your mortal body, and do not obey its lusts, nor present your members to sin as instruments of unrighteousness, but present yourselves to God as those raised from the dead, and your members Present to God as instruments of righteousness, for sin will not have dominion over you, for you are not under law, but under grace.
You were originally slaves to sin, but you have been set free from sin and became slaves to righteousness by obedient to the pattern of teaching that was delivered to you. ....
The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord” (Romans 6:12-23).
“If you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved” (Romans 10:9).
