Jesus hated the Pharisees. Because everyone was thinking only of their own honor.
High in the nation of Israel is the priest, the scribe, and the elder rabbi.
Each time they had a meeting, they tried to sit only in the highest seats.
Jesus rebuked a person who did not want to do things that others liked and pleased them, but wanted to be famous.
Rabbi--He hates and despises those below him.
Elder--only fights with those below him.
Law scholar-- Jealousy when others do well and praise him.
Priests-- Borrowing money from believers and not repaying them
Jesus rebuked those who despise others by doing evil things in public and saying that I am the best in people's eyes.
They tell the poor person to help, but when they see the poor person, they just pretend they don't know.
So Jesus said, “People like vipers, blind people, whitewashed tombs.” Do you think you will go to heaven? He rebuked them terribly, saying that they would fall into hell.
A certain merchant has gone to a distant place to do business.
As he was passing through the mountains, he met a thief and was beaten, stolen, and passed out.
After a while the elders and priests passed by this road. They passed by blindly to a merchant who had fallen on the side of the road and was bleeding.
But the lowest man, a Samaritan, found the fainted man and moved him to an inn room to heal him.
A high name or high position is not a good thing. People who do good deeds, serve and fulfill their responsibilities for their neighbors, even with a low name, are desperately needed.
Our children should also become people who do good things from small things.
