Title: The Life God Likes
Isaiah (159) The life that God loves (Isaiah 66:15-24)
< Live in memory of judgment >
The text is the final part of Isaiah, which describes the final victory of the saints and the eternal judgment of the wicked. In the future, when the Lord comes again, He will come with powerful authority accompanied by fire, and at that time all unrighteous people will be judged and those who have followed the wrong path will all perish together (verses 15-17). Also, world missions will be actively carried out through those who remain in the last days (verses 18-19). After all, the end times and world missions are closely related.
Through that missionary work, many people will come and worship God (verse 20), and then, the chosen ones among the Gentiles will also serve as spiritual priests (verse 21). And the chosen people will have their names written in the book of life, and they will worship God forever, and the rebellious and wicked people who refused to believe will die and be punished forever (verse 24). Isaiah ends with the promise of such a just judgment.
What is the greatest reason for believers to have overflowing hope? It is the fact that there will be God's righteous judgment in the end times. When someone passed away, he wrote in his diary: “The picnic went well.” Life is a picnic. Just as we go on a picnic and run around in the beautiful nature and return home when it gets dark, we too will go to heaven and live with God forever when God calls us. That's how the world goes. And when you die, you will stand in God's righteous judgment seat, so please do your best while you are in the world and leave a trace of a beautiful life.

Dr. Jang Ki-ryeo, a Schweitzer in Korea, came down from the North and spent his entire life alone in the hospital. When he ran the hospital, he opened the back door for patients to run away through the back door if they had no money. How contrasted with the ugly life of grabbing, undressing and suing someone in a similar situation? Open the way to those who groan because there is no way, and open the door to those who despair because there is no door. It is also necessary to beautify the appearance, but without inner beauty, outer beauty is meaningless and does not bring joy and happiness to life.
Beautiful hearts are disappearing now. My heart got really cold. Some emigrated after the death of their mother-in-law and husband, squandering all their little fortune with their friends' enamel and crying that they could not live in Korea. People got really scared. On the other hand, some people always think of their neighbors and make their lives more and more beautiful. Sometimes, when I watch TV, I see stories of people who work hard even in old age. How beautiful is old age?
It's a well-known fairy tale. One autumn two brothers were harvesting and sharing the grain. It was night and I lay in bed and I think of you. “My younger brother got married and started a household, and it was wrong to divide the grain in half. My brother has to live well...” So, my brother secretly went out to the field at night and moved the sheaf of rice to his brother's sheaf.
Then my brother also lay down and think. “My brother has a lot of family with his parents, but I brought too many.” So the younger brother also went to the field and moved the rice sheaf to his brother's field. The next day, when I went out to the field, the sheaf of grain was still there, so the brothers were trying to move the sheaf again that night, but they met in the middle of the road. said my brother. "brother! Where are you going with your sheaf of rice tonight?” My brother also said. “Where is my brother going with the sheaf of rice this night?” And soon the two brothers embraced each other and wept, and after that, they supported each other and lived well.
Happiness comes when we give for each other. Don't think that your secret good deeds are just meaningless. Although people cannot see, God sees, and people forget, but God does not forget. Look away and buy. Life is a picnic. When we go to God's bosom, we must have done many good deeds. Therefore, do not end with believing and being saved, but starting a new missionary life after you have been saved and do many blessings and good deeds. So, when your life is over, if you ask what God has done, prepare a lot of words that will gladly answer you.
If you look around you now, there are many people who have collapsed from exhaustion as they climbed uphill with heavy loads. Even a little push on them raises the level of happiness. Now, instead of trying to live well alone, try to live well together. Don't hide yourself in the face of good things, and don't turn away from your job. If you work hard for missionary work and alms like that, God will pay you back later. Now, glorify God through the saintly life that God loves, and when you finish your excursion in life and stand before God, become blessed spirits who stand with joy.
