Lord's command
(Matthew 28:16-20)
(…) Now is Lent, thinking about the cross of Jesus. Why is Lent repeated every year? That is because the Crucifixion is so important (…) The cross is an essential and absolute core in the New Testament. You cannot become a true Christian without realizing the meaning of the cross.(…) The core of Christianity is Jesus Christ. The central point of the Christian gospel is the death of the cross. And the key to the Lord's last words is evangelism.(…) In order for the church to become a church, it must first become a church that evangelizes. And the church must be changed and renewed every year, and it must show growth. There are several reasons.
Because it is a command from Jesus.
Evangelism is the highest command given to Christians. Evangelism is the last word that our Lord left to his disciples just before he was taken up to heaven after finishing his work. (…) So, the greatest mission on earth as a Christian is to evangelize and to save souls. The early church completely obeyed the Lord's commands. I obeyed the Lord's word 200%. Christians must evangelize. This is because it is the Lord's request, the Lord of our lives and the core of our faith.
Because it is the command of the Bible.
(…) It is said that until the introduction of the Bible, Chinese people lived with a librarian in their left hand and three sutras in their right hand. It means that the lessons of the Three Sutras are more precious than any other lessons. Then, when the Bible came to China, it was elevated to a higher level than the Three Sutras, which were considered important. What the dignified and authoritative Bible tells us is, “Preach, proclaim, enlighten, and know.”(…)
Because there is life.
The interest of the Bible is life and love.(…) There is life in the gospel. Where the gospel is preached, there is light, there is truth, there is love, and there is peace. Also, the gospel brings people together, moves them, makes them interact, meet, and communicate. The gospel is alive and active and has the power to save lives. We must preach the gospel.
Make people mature.
