Title: The Love of Christ the Son

Contents

The love of Christ the Son is the love of the Father. The love the Father loved the Son was the glory of God who gave his life and even his name.

The Son, who had received this glory, gave this glory on the cross to those whom he had given him according to the will of the Father. It is the same evidence as Jesus said, “Truly, I say to you, today you will be with me in paradise” (Luke 23:43).

According to this will, “I have given them the glory that has been given to me, that they may be one, as we are one. Ham is so that the world may know that you sent me, and that you loved them as you loved me. I want you to do it” (John 17:22-24).

The above saying, “Father, I want him whom you have given me to be with me where I am, so that they may see the glory that you have given me because you loved me before the foundation of the world.” This means, “I will reveal your name to those whom you have given me out of the world. They were yours, but you gave them to me, and we have kept your word” (John 17:6). He was referring to the children of God who were given to the Son out of the world.

Judging from the words of the evidence, “Those whom God foreknew, he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers.” No, it is clear that they are children of another world who were born of God.

Therefore, the Bible says, “For both he who sanctifies and those who are sanctified are all of one. Therefore, he is not ashamed to call them brethren, saying, I will declare Your name to my brothers, and I will praise You in the midst of the church.” Again I will trust in him. And behold again, I and the children God has given me. For the children are of flesh and blood, and he also belongs to flesh and blood in one likeness, so that he who through death took hold of the power of death, the devil, was removed. And that he might release all those who were in bondage all their lives because they were afraid of death, not really to uphold the angels, but to uphold the descendants of Abraham” (Hebrews 2:11-16). is.

All of God's children, born of God, are in Christ Jesus. Therefore, it is all accomplished together in the fulfillment of Christ Jesus. Therefore, “You are of God, and you are in Christ Jesus, who came from God to be wisdom, righteousness, sanctification, and redemption, so that as it is written, He who boasts, let him boast in the Lord” (1 Cor. 1:30-31) was testified.

This is because, according to the will of the Father, in the Son, many children were made together in suffering and glory. The Bible testifies that “it is finished”. It is written, “God, who is rich in mercy, through the great love with which he loved us, raised us from trespasses through Christ Jesus (by grace you have been saved), and raised us up together and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus. because he was merciful to us in Christ Jesus, so that the exceeding riches of his grace might be revealed in generations to come. By grace you have been saved, through faith, and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God.” (Eph. 2:4-8) It is the same evidence.

For this reason, the Bible says, “The love of Christ compels us, and we consider that if one died for all, then all died. not to live for them, but for him who died for them and was raised again If you are in it, you are a new creation; the old has passed away; behold, the new has come” (2 Corinthians 5:14-17).

All these things can only be achieved by faith working through love that exists only between father and child. That's why the Bible testifies, "Deliver us also from those who are unreasonable and evil, for faith is not everyone's" (2 Thessalonians 3:2).

The love of Christ the Son is the eternal commandment of the children of God who will dwell in the Father's house. As it is written, “I give you a new commandment, that you love one another, and that you love one another as I have loved you” (John 13:34). Also, “Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God. Everyone who loves is born of God and knows God; whoever does not love does not know God, for God is love. This was how God's love was revealed to us, that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him. Here is love, not that we loved God, but that God loved us and sent his Son as the propitiation for our sins” (1 John 4:7-10).

Therefore, through the love of Christ his Son, “we know and believe the love that God has for us, God is love, and he who abides in love abides in God, and God in him” (1 John 4:16). . Amen, thank you Lord.
