Title: The Mature Church
1 Thessalonians 1:5-7
mature church
For our gospel did not come to you only with words, but with power and the Holy Spirit and with great conviction, as you know what kind of people we became among you for you. You became imitators of us and of the Lord, so that you became examples to all who believed in Macedonia and Achaia.
-1 Thessalonians 1:5-7
I believe that our church, which has passed 10 years, should be a model for many churches in Korea. Even if you have a model church, a model believer, and an office, it is not so easy to become a model officer. There are also exemplary students in school life. There are also model prisoners in prison. After being released from the prison cell, model Soo-eun works as an administrative officer with the agency personnel who work in the same prison. In the same way, we must be the church by which we can model.
A model church is a mature church, a mature church.
The Korean church celebrated its 100th anniversary. As a result, the number of believers increased and the number of churches increased. However, just because the history of the church is 100 years old, it is not a mature church. Just because tens of thousands of saints have gathered does not make it a mature church. A grown church might be a fitting term. Being financially generous doesn't mean you're mature.
A mature church must be a giving church. Therefore, we must learn how to become a giving church as a growing church from now on. Our church should do missionary work and education work in the future.
We must do our best to preach God and train workers with the numerous resources we have. We do not view resources as money. I believe it is a resource of faith.
