Meek 1 _ Blessed are the meek
Now, let's take a look at the third stage of Paldan Jinbok.
“Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth” (Matthew 5:4).
This refers to a state of peace of mind as various living conditions become smooth and difficult problems are resolved, just as the forces that pursued them disappeared when the army was buried in the Red Sea after passing through the stage of mourning.
As tribulation and persecution have calmed down, my heart has calmed down, so I feel a little gentle.
Just as there is still peace when a person comes out of the state of being chased, it is similar to the state of silence that comes after everything has passed, which is referred to as the meek here. This meekness is not really an inner meekness.
As the external raging winds and waves are calmed, the tormented mind is merely a state of stability, not the meekness that has broken the ego. It cannot be said to be the kind of gentleness that is gradually sanctified.
So, since you have not yet entered into your inner faith, you can say that it is a lifestyle that looks a little more stable and gentle on the outside. To such people, God allows them to enjoy the blessings they deserve on earth.
‘You will inherit the land.’
Also, these words should not be taken as giving the earth as an inheritance when the stage of the meek is over. Little by little, little by little, various environments, including food, clothing, and shelter, improve, and the work you do becomes more and more prosperous. It can be said that this is the stage of blessing in which you receive the land as an inheritance and enjoy it.
However, it cannot be said that it is only a material blessing. In general, all living environments are being chased badly by the devil, and he makes life better and smoother than when he undergoes refinement.
But just as there are no temptation winds in this stage of the meek
You shouldn't think. It seems that God waits for a while and then degenerates too much, is too greedy, is ignoring what he has promised before God, continues to sin and only wants to enjoy the blessings of the earth more You beat me with a whip.
Even if they do not continue to suffer so much tribulation and suffering as in the course of refining, loving discipline is inevitable for people of faith who sometimes find it too frustrating in God's eyes and abandon Jesus altogether for worldly things.
For example, if you are a person who runs a company or runs a business, when the training process is over and you are full of grace, you decide, “Oh, let’s live a life of thorough material service for the Lord. Also, let's have a good Sunday holy day and always give everything to God first, including tithing. In addition, let’s try to live frugally without being too lavish for food, clothing and shelter. I made this decision.
However, as time goes by, the things I made up for will fade away, and if it seems to be an obstacle to making money, I don't think it's a waste to not attend Sunday's Holy Week and pay an offering.
“Make more money and pay more next time.” In doing so, he uses the time or wealth he should have given to God to satisfy his greed more. If you keep trying to rationalize yourself and justify yourself and immerse yourself in a life that satisfies your lust, in the end, God sometimes says, 'This can't be done' and gives you a whip of love.
In such a case, there are incidents such as allowing a stinging failure, causing a child to become ill, causing difficulties in a car accident, or losing all material.
Believers who do not know these truths in detail sometimes think that it is an unconditional refining process when they suffer.
If you keep derailing with lust and do not work diligently according to God's will, God disciplines you with love.
Many people seem to deviate a lot when going through this stage of the meek.
There are so many people who quit drinking and smoking when going through the podium, but in the process, they keep meeting drinking friends while doing business or doing business.
Still, they justify themselves with the words of the Bible.
“What kind of alcohol does the Bible say you should not drink? There was no such thing. I was told not to drink. Neither the Catholic Church nor our Protestant churches in foreign countries are extremely prohibitive against alcohol and tobacco.” There are a lot of people who say it's okay while making that claim.
But in fact, our Korean church, which strictly prohibited smoking this week, seems to be a great blessing.
It is said that churches in foreign countries do not deal with such thoroughly. So, it is similar to the current Catholic Church in Korea.
