Title: The Merciful 3 _ Korah's Rebellion
Contents
Living compassionately, practicing love for neighbors
"Blessed are the merciful, for they shall receive mercy."
hide and seek with the Lord
At the moment when our self is broken along with the hide-and-seek of Jesus, we repent thoroughly and confess, 'It's all my fault.' At the same time, it is to become a saint who purely denies oneself, takes up the cross and follows.
Then again, if we are dominated by lust and sinful nature, God will say, ‘I can’t do it anymore. I can’t let it sit any longer.’ He sees it and makes him fall into the trap of hide and seek. Then they wander in the pit, blaming others and the environment at first.
If you repent quickly 'it's my fault', it will be over quickly, but if you keep trying to find a solution to the problem in other things while you waste time thinking 'why am I doing this', it will take a long time. In this way, God trains us so that our self can be broken and our conduct can be purified through various circumstances.
This stage of being compassionate and receiving mercy is a blessing process, but in fact, it can be seen that God thoroughly trains us in it. Therefore, when Jesus makes you play hide and seek, it is clear that there is a secret work of the devil. That's why a lot of difficult things happen all over the place. In other words, you are creating an opportunity for repentance through such an environment. It's not that you repent because of some big sin, but that as you grow up, you keep digging up your hidden self so that you can repent through refinement. So, anyway, all 600,000 selves die and are broken.
Therefore, moment by moment, our self is broken one by one and every time it is broken, we will obey the words of Jesus, “You shall deny yourself and take up your cross and follow me” (Matthew 16:24). In order to become a true disciple, we must do so. Therefore, this process of killing 600,000 people can be said to be the training process to make true disciples of Jesus. That's why people like Watchman Nee called it the training process of the Holy Spirit, and John Wesley's theology called it progressive sanctification.
This is something that can never happen without the work of grace, and it cannot happen unless someone has received the Word. So, in order not to weaken our faith, He allows us to taste various heavenly gifts. It is to give them the gifts they need for their work. For example, the gift of healing, the gift of speaking in tongues, the gift of interpreting, the gift of prophecy, the gift of performing miracles. Also, the reason that God gives us these heavenly gifts, such as the gift of mouth or revelation, so that our faith does not become weak. So it's in order to have more and more obedient faith.
Only when we have the gift of experience, our hearts become humble before God, and we shed tears to discover our own faults. At first, it seemed unfair and it seemed like a big loss, but later on, it became a great spiritual benefit and worked together for good. He makes me think like this.
That is why you will receive mercy. It does not mean that you will give any blessings after this stage of showing mercy has passed. Whenever one's self is broken moment by moment, physical blessings are bound to follow. But first, he heals the soul. He makes us disciples who deny themselves, take up the cross, and follow. And it solves real problems. When a person who has suffered because of a business failure or is so materially deprived of his or her self is broken, He restores it again. Also, if you are suffering from an illness, you can experience the miracle of healing or go to a hospital to be healed. God allows many such experiences.
Korah's rebellion and Aaron's rod that budded
There is one important watershed or turning point in the compassionate phase: Korah's rebellion and Aaron's rod that budded. After this experience, you can receive many worldly blessings. If you have relatively strong persistence and persistence, you can receive considerable blessings from the world. But you should know that you are more likely to become tares after passing through Aaron's rod that budded.
At this time, it is not easy for those who have faith in the bright light and narrow path to enjoy such abundant physical blessings. However, those who do not shake off all of these things and enjoy them a lot will go deep into a dreadful quagmire due to hypocrisy and arrogance. So it becomes tares. However, at this time, those who do not have tares are forced to run up to Mt. Gannan, suffering great pain as if half of their body was torn off.
Please explain in more detail about Gora's rebellion process.
Korah's rebellion is also an environment in which the ego is broken, and it is quite severe. It is an important turning point in breaking the self, a process of passing through a great bitterness and letting go of a lot of possessions.
It is not an exaggeration to say that this is a short version of the third podium.
In other words, he causes us to lose a lot of things that we had been obsessed with lustfully and selflessly. The fact is, you will lose it. In order to do that, various test winds and waves are created very intensely.
In particular, we have been betrayed by those closest to us, those we trusted, those who trusted each other, those who helped and showed us a lot of love, or pointed out our shortcomings, the many bad things in our conduct. I don't know because I'm not good at self-reflection. But this person, that person, everyone in the vicinity knows it. The devil always uses such people. That is how God provides.
The devil darkens the hearts of the people around him, so he stabs people who are passing through Korah's rebellion like this and pierces them like that. In reality, the difficulties are almost to the point of death, but people keep poking and pointing out mistakes one by one. ‘No, I am suffering like this, how can I do this without even saying a word of sympathy?’ It makes it difficult to make people feel like this. It exposes shortcomings that seem to be non-problem. If you feel a little selfish, a little lustful, or a little violent, they keep stabbing you as an excuse. ‘Even if there is a little of that, can you betray me so coldly?’ He makes it appear in the environment so that it is easy to think like this.
It's bitter and frustrating at first to hear such words, but when you think about it little by little, you're like, 'Oh, that's right. Anyway, I have to clean before God. Even if it’s unfair, you have to wipe it away.’ In doing so, he keeps denying himself and making him carry the cross. The more you rebel, rationalize, and struggle there, the longer it will take. You fall into that pit and you can't get out of it easily.
Then later you look back. ‘Ah, you said to love your enemies too. He told me to turn the right cheek to the person who was about to hit me on the left cheek.’ When you repent and become full of grace, those words are new and very good. It is engraved firmly in the intellect, and firmly engraved in the conscience. 'It was such a good word. I can’t be at peace like this.’ This is what I come to realize.
Then he said, 'He told the person who was trying to steal his underwear to take off his outerwear as well. No matter how resentful I am, no matter how frustrating things I have been through, even if there is nothing to eat tomorrow, let me give it to you. If you think about it, that person really has ninety-nine sheep, and I only have one sheep, but let me give it to you. How can God help you?’ In this way, your faith will grow stronger, your memories will be renewed, and your knowledge will increase.
Also, if you practice this way, your heart will be refreshed, you will be filled with the Holy Spirit, and all difficult things will be solved by miracles. He makes us experience it over and over again and makes us experience Aaron's rod that budded. If you do that, you will reveal everything you have been vaguely about to people. It also makes them shy. In doing so, he makes his spiritual authority higher.
Why did the saints leave like that when I went through Korah's rebellion?
Some of the saints leave and some remain, but when the saints leave, a lot of self comes out. Does it come out when you are next to me? When you leave, it comes out like water pouring out. Even if there is something that he usually felt a little bit, when he is around him, he is quiet, but when his heart is dark, it comes out. But if you're there, it won't come out. I can't because I'm afraid. Before such words come out, if the pastor first reflects and repents, the saints may not leave. Even when they hear the voices of complaints, resentment, and criticism from the saints, they hold on to them, hold on to them, and practice their love. That way, the bitterness may be a lot, but it may not go away.
But otherwise, people with strong personalities fight back and forth. I spit it out while feeling remorse in my conscience. And then, ‘What the hell did I do wrong?’ After doing this for a while, I think about it in bed or meditating. “Oh, I did too much. According to these words, I must die.” In this process, the saints leave. Then, while reflecting on yourself, you say, 'Oh, you should not fail again.' This is the way God is leading it because it must be repeated over and over to be properly trained.
