Today's talk is an incident where 100 people were fed with 20 barley loaves and vegetables in a sack. This is an Old Testament example of the incident of the Five Byeong-Eye that Jesus performed. We are emphasizing that everyone has enough to eat and has leftovers. It wasn't just a little taste. It shows the richness of God's grace and the overflowing power of God. Even today, the miracles of the twenty barley loaves are appearing in various ways around us. We just need to believe in the power of God. I pray that God's amazing miracle will happen in the field of your life.
First: Give to the man of God
“A man came from Baal-Salisha and offered the man of God the first loaves of bread he had made, twenty barley loaves, and also vegetables in a sack.” He said, “Give them to the multitude to eat. Not far from Gilgal, the first 20 barley loaves and vegetables in a sack were brought to Elisha the man of God. But the Levites shared it, but at that time there were no legal priests or Levites, so it was given to the prophet Elisha, a man of God.
Second: Give it to the crowd to eat.
“A man came from Baal Salishah and offered the man of God the first loaves he had made, twenty barley loaves, and vegetables in a sack.” He said, “Give them to the multitudes to eat.” Elisha gave this to Elisha. He gave it to God. Elisha, who received this, said, “Give it to the crowd to eat.” Elisha ate the twenty barley loaves first or did not eat alone. This is the heart of a mother: The person of faith is Jesus first, then other people, and lastly, herself.
Third: I will eat and have leftovers.
“The servant said to him, “How can I give this to a hundred?” Elisha said again, “Give them to the people to eat, and they will eat and have leftovers,” says the Lord. Verse 44) When we divided the 20 barley loaves, there were still a hundred people eating. A miracle happened according to the word of God. Those who obey the word of God will experience a miracle in heaven that is unimaginable. Those who live stingy will live in poverty and hardship throughout their lives Those who live by calculating do not experience great blessings, but when they go beyond calculation and obey God's word in absolute obedience, they experience a thrilling blessing.
