The modern meaning of the Harvest Festival
Let's not forget God's love and grace.
There are three major feasts in the Old Testament that God made.
The first is the Passover.
It is a festival to commemorate the liberation of the people of Israel from Egypt.
This is the second Harvest Festival.
# After 40 years in the wilderness, after settling in the land of Canaan
Thank you for giving me the first fruits.
# After seven weeks of the Feast of Weeks
Thank you for giving me barley fruit.
# 7X7 = 49 The next day we give thanks and call it Pentecost.
It is the third Feast of Tabernacles (Feast of Ingathering).
Thank you for guiding me through the 40 years of the wilderness.
It was offered after the autumn harvest.
1. What is the reason to keep the Maceul Festival?
1) Because it is a command from God.
Exodus 23:16 “Keep the Feast of Harvest” is God’s command.
2) Because you wanted to date.
Our Lord wants fellowship with us.
3) It is a means to give blessings.
Blessings are given to those who believe in seeing what they do.
2. How should we observe the Harvest Festival today?
Deuteronomy 16:10 “Measure your strength according to the blessings on you.
I will give you a voluntary gift.”
1) We must give thanks for the blessing.
Count what God has blessed you with.
Ex) Do you remember all the blessings your parents gave you?
There are so many things to be thankful for God's grace.

2) You must voluntarily give a gift.
God wants to give voluntarily.
Because God looks at our hearts, we are not deceived.
1 Samuel 16:7 A man looks on the outward appearance, but the LORD looks on the heart.
(Don't do it formally.)
3) Let's all give thanks together.
Deuteronomy 16:10 He commanded all to observe the feast together.
It is for the purpose of religious education.
3. There is grace given to those who keep the feasts well.
1) God is pleased.
If we keep the feasts, God is pleased.
2) Receive God's love.
Proverbs 3:9-10
“With your wealth and the firstfruits of your produce,
Honor Yahweh
Then your warehouse will be full.
Your winepress will overflow with new wine.”
3) Receive special protection.
Exodus 34:23-24 I will enlarge your borders.
No one will covet your land.
