Title: The Most Blessed Behavior
<The most blessed act>
There is a confession in the Bible that best expresses the meaning of worship. It is David's confession, "My cup overflows" (Psalm 23:5). In other words, worship is the overflowing of thanksgiving and love for God in one's self. Why should we worship God? No other reason. It is simply because God is worthy to be worshiped.
When you worship, the inner water of life springs up within you. The very water of life quenches the thirst of the soul. Drinking that water of life changes your life, gives you true satisfaction, and makes your pursuits worthwhile. On the other hand, there is no joy and no happiness in a life without worship. And I can't find the answer in life. Without worship, whatever you do is empty, but if there is worship, you can find the truth, and happy praise flows out.
If you do not have a life of worship, you will see a beautiful rose and say, “Oh! It’s beautiful!” But the void soon comes and only the shabby figure of herself is highlighted. However, when those who have discovered the joy of worship change their thinking system, when they see a beautiful rose, they think of the God who made that beauty and rejoice as they think that God is their father and that they are God's masterpiece.
Admire Michelangelo's work in the French Ruble Museum. The Winter Palace in St. Petersburg, Leningrad, Russia is filled with world-class works of art. If someone steals the work, they value it enough to wage war. Why? Because it is the work of great masters. In the end, it matters whose work it is.
The saints are the work of God. If you don't know it, your thoughts and feelings of inferiority dominate you. However, when you realize that you are the work of God, you will find joy and admiration. “I have such talents and talents! God allowed me to do these things!!” When you see yourself as God's work like this, the way you see yourself and the way you see the world change. Then, true worship will be offered. The most blessed act in this world is the act of worship.
<Becoming a Blessed Worshiper>
Worship should not be an emotional conversation. During worship, a deep personal encounter with God must take place. To achieve a deep personal encounter, you do not have to be silent. Don't be silent and overflow with negative thoughts. Depending on a person's inclination, you can worship with a loud voice and communicate with God, or you can worship with silence and communion with God. The important thing is to worship in spirit and in truth (verses 22-24).
God is still looking for true worshipers (verse 23). It is a surprising fact that God is looking for humans. It is like a king looking for a traitor, and a philosopher looking for an ignorant. In fact, if God had not first sought us, we could not have known God and could not have called him Father. So Augustine said: "God! You have broken and opened my deaf ear, because you have called and called me.”
Worship offered in spirit and in truth results in a response to evangelism. Dream of worshipers who have such a response to evangelism. The church should not be a godly refrigerator. The church should be an incubator that awakens the soul and a blessing room that introduces Jesus. So let all your life always be the life of a true worshiper. Through true worship, you can see the face of God you have longed for.
The most important reason David was blessed was that he was a good worshiper. No matter how hurried when his son Absalom launched a coup, David hurriedly fled Jerusalem without even combing his hair. At that time, even in the midst of running away, I went up to the Mount of Olives barefoot and worshiped God (2 Samuel 15:30-32). Why did the person who ran away without shoes on, worshiped God without running away even for a moment? Because they knew that meeting with God was the way to solve problems.
There is no such thing as 'encounter with God'. The greatest means of that blessed meeting is worship. So worship is important. Even now, God is looking for true worshipers to bless. We seek God through worship in spirit and in truth, but God also seeks us by responding to worship in spirit and truth. By always worshiping in spirit and truth, establish deep personal fellowship with God and prepare for tomorrow's blessings.
