Psalm 23
1. The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.
2. He makes me lie down in green pastures, He leads me beside still waters.
3. He revives my soul and leads me in the path of righteousness for His name's sake.
4. Though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for You are with me; Your staff and staff comfort me.
5. You have set a table for me in the sight of my enemies; you have anointed my head with oil; my cup overflows.
6. Surely goodness and kindness will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever.
Acts 3
1. During the ninth hour of prayer, Peter and John went up to the temple.
2. People who are born lame are brought in, who are placed daily at the gate of the temple called the Beautiful Gate to beg from those who enter the temple.
3. When he saw Peter and John going into the temple, he begged.
4. Peter looked at him with John and said, Behold us.
5. He looked to see what they might get from them.
6. And Peter said, I have no silver and gold, but what I have I give you; in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, walk.
7. He took his right hand and lifted him up, and immediately his feet and ankles gained strength.
8. They ran and walked and went into the temple with them, walking and jumping, praising God.
9. When all the people saw him walking and praising God,
10. Knowing that he was the one who used to sit begging at the beautiful gate of the temple, he was amazed and amazed at what had happened to him.

Subject: The Name of Jesus Christ
Text: Psalm 23:1-6, Acts 3:1-10.
Today is the day of the dedication ceremony of Namsan Church in Pyeongtaek, the highlight of the feast to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the founding of our Namsan Church. When I think of the things I have been praying for and having a precious purpose for this work with you, I am filled with overwhelming joy and gratitude. Thank you for the words that come out of your mouth. Thank you.... 'Thank God. This is the history of God. Praise God for blessing Namsan Mountain.’ ‘Dear Namsan family, thank you. Thank you for being with us in such a precious work.’ Our Lord, who loved us and was with us until this day, has become the head of the church, that is, our head. The Lord will remember the roles of all the members used in the Lord's work. Let us all praise and give thanks to God together, and let us celebrate each other.
Praise our Lord Jesus, who is the Lord (Matthew 16:18) and Head (Ephesians 4:15) of the church. Our prayers and promises to pay for our age on the occasion of our 60th anniversary were His will. At every critical juncture, there was the touch of the One who knew our tribe. There were five bowls of dedication through the inspiration of the Holy Spirit. Not only in Seoul, but also in Pyeongtaek. Under the banner of “the name of Jesus Christ,” truly beautiful things have happened. This flag will continue to flutter to fulfill the Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-20) commanded by the Lord. We are all called to be members of the church, to be imitations of Jesus Christ. We should follow it with gratitude for allowing us to participate in the fulfillment of our glorious mission. We must live a life that takes advantage of the opportunities that are given to us anytime and anywhere (Ephesians 5:15-17).
Today's New Testament text is an event that took place at the Beautiful Gate. Through the resurrection and ascension of Jesus and the coming of the Holy Spirit, the appearance of the disciples who followed the Lord began to change remarkably. Their changing appearance also affected their surroundings. The ninth hour (3 PM) was the time of prayer for the Jews. At the beautiful gate, which is reputed to be the most beautiful among the eight gates of Jerusalem, something not so beautiful, repeated every day, was happening that day as well. One of the people who was born (congenital) crippled was carried by people and left on the writing aid. It was a survival strategy using a good place to beg and the right time. He begged two men to enter the temple. I asked for mercy. Waiting for the coin to fall, he had an erratic reaction.
The two paid attention and started talking. “Look at us!” (Acts 3:4). It was a rare response, but it seems to have given me a slightly different expectation (Acts 3:5). Then one of the two men, the one with the most beards, opened his mouth. “Silver and gold I do not have, but what I have I give I give in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, walk” (Acts 3:6). It must have been the first time I had ever heard of it. He grabbed the beggar's right hand and tried to get him up. Instead of pain, there was strength. For the first time in his life, he got up and walked and ran, praising God. There was a commotion, and people flocked to Solomon's Pagoda. As the hairy man was explaining the truth to them, there was a name spoken out loud. It was also ‘the name of Jesus Christ’ (Acts 3:16; 4:12).
