Title: The One Who Started a Good Thing
Contents
He who started a good work (Philippians 1:3-1)
The Apostle Paul wrote to the Philippian church,
“He who began a good work in you, until the day of Christ Jesus
We are sure that it will be done.”
The Lord started a good work for us and our church like the Philippian church,
I hope you will be able to complete that work this year.
What was the good thing that Paul and Timothy were convinced of?
1. It is a creative ministry.
The most beautiful and precious thing in this world is the creation of light and life.
Above all, it is the creation of man in the image and likeness of God. (Genesis 1:1~31)
Creation is something only God can do.
As children of God, we must be creative and
You have to live life.
Every day we sing a new song, every month bears new fruit, every year a new
We have to make history.
Don't become obsolete or get caught up in the past.
2. This is salvation work.
The Lord wants us to enjoy a happy life in the field of creation.
You came to this earth.
He came in a humble form to save us, who were dead in our trespasses and sins.
He suffered all kinds of humiliation, took up a cruel cross and died (Isaiah 53:2-7, Philippians 2:5-8).
We must be wise to carry out the work of salvation that is pleasing to God.
You have to act.
An evangelism method that fits the local sentiment and that many people sympathize with and move their hearts
I need to find it.
We must cry out and ask God for help (Exodus 3:7-8).
3. This is Heavenly Ministry.
God created Eden, a paradise on earth, for Adam and Eve.
God wanted them to be happy forever in Eden.
However, they fell into the enchantment of the devil, sinned, and were cast out of Eden.
Jesus Christ, the Creator, came into the human beings who had lost Eden (Galatians 2:20, Revelation 3:20).
We must restore the lost heaven.
That is the gospel ministry.
Paul knew that the Philippian church was participating in the work for the gospel.
1) Every time I thought about it, I thanked God.
2) Whenever I prayed, I prayed with joy.
3) I longed for it with the heart of Jesus.
4) I prayed that it would be filled with the fruits of impartiality.
Whenever we think of someone, we too are thankful, rejoicing, and with the heart of Jesus.
You should be able to bless it.
By the grace of God, our lives are full of the fruits of righteousness,
The church is full of the fruit of peace and the fruit of blessing
May God bless you with glory and praise in the name of the Lord.
