Title: David's Peace

Contents :

The true peace of man is when he looks to God and lives. King David's life of true peace was enjoyed in a life of humility. I was able to lie down peacefully like a child because I had a contented life.

This text is a confession of David's pure faith, that is, his heart to depend only on God. David was a man of humility, who, despite being persecuted by Saul for ten years, did not respond. When he ascended to the throne, he did not use force or violence. It was. As we confess in today's text, David expresses his pure faith by saying that his heart is now at peace as if a weaned child was peacefully satisfied with his mother's arms.

In short, it was because he looked to the Lord and lived.

People's attitudes also change depending on what they look at. Just as a child only has a mother, we must live the life of one who has only Jehovah. You must become a person who lives a life that hopes for the salvation of Jehovah, that is, help. We must become those who look to the grace of Jehovah and live.

Therefore, those who look to the Lord live a life of humility.

It is a life of letting go of pride and pride.

David was not arrogant and he was not arrogant, so he always lived a humble man. To look to heaven means not to set your eyes on the miscellaneous things of the world, and to look at the low places without setting your eyes on high places means having an attitude of waiting for God's grace.

It's a life where you don't try hard to do weird big things.

Great things are miracles and miracles that only God can perform. Prideful and arrogant people want to do something great for themselves. Because there are no plausible achievements of their own, they are anxious and anxious. Such people do not depend on God. In fact, David just fell on his face and prayed in front of Saul's 3,000 men. After crossing the Red Sea, Moses and the Israelites could only look and obey God. Those who do not depend on God struggle to do something for themselves.

Those who look to the Lord live a life of satisfaction.

The weaned infant sleeps contentedly in her mother's arms, in a peaceful state with nothing more to hope for. The reason David's soul could be quiet and peaceful was because he was satisfied with the Lord's arms. A life of satisfaction is satisfied with the comfort of God.

Everyone!! Is your heart truly calm and peaceful right now? Are your hearts satisfied with the Lord alone now? Are your hearts now content with the Lord's arms peacefully like a weaned child? If not, why? If I could draw my heart with a picture right now, how would I draw it?
