Title: The People's Grievance and Moses' Prayer
Contents
1. Words that begin
‘Thank you’ means to be grateful for the words and deeds of others. 'Resentment' is to feel unfairly or displeased, to blame or resent, to hate. Each of the contents of the dictionary interpretation of resentment is offensive to others, and there are no words that consider oneself a problem.
Gratitude and resentment are two opposite attitudes towards life. Of course, there are times when people are grateful for life and there are times when they resent it. However, the problem is that gratitude and resentment also become habits. It is rare for people who have become a habit of gratitude, but it is common for those who have become a habit of resentment. Often times, you don't know how hard, annoying, annoying, and angry other people are because of people who resent you. Israel, who prided itself on being God's chosen people, often complained and caused God's wrath and punishment. Therefore, resentful people should know that they are creating a crisis that will lead to a second and third misfortune.
2. The resentment of God's people
Knowing the harmful effects of resentment, you must stop resenting the person who is resentful before blaming them for not resenting. There are a lot of people in the world who do grudges. Even so, resentment will only harm you and others.
Nevertheless, there have been, and will be, people who have become a habit of resentment. Israel, who experienced God's great miracle for the Exodus from Egypt ten times, complained intermittently before and after it, was saved by the amazing miracle of the parting of the Red Sea, and complained whenever there was difficulty even after seeing the Egyptian army buried. I was disappointed. They complained with evil words that God heard. That God never once did anything against the Israelites.
Again, God gave the laws and commands to the people of Israel through Moses at Mount Sinai so that they could live a life of righteousness, truth, love, and freedom, free from sin and idolatry, just like God's people. However, less than a week after leaving, he complained again with evil words to God. A riot is about to happen. It is only natural that the journey through a rugged area such as the downtown peninsula is accompanied by discomfort and pain. They complained that the road was rough, they complained that the weather was bad, they complained that the body was hard, they complained that the road was long, and they complained about food to eat and water to drink. Each of them had clear reasons and excuses for taking resentment for granted.
What they really need to have is not to rationalize them with reasons or excuses for their repeated resentment and resentment. What the Israelites really need to have is to believe in God and wait with trust in God's love and power. In a word, it is faith in God.
It was when I was assigned to work in a non-self-supporting church in the countryside during my early years of ministry. He was sad because there were not many poor church members who rented out other people's houses, so he taught them to tithe in order to receive the blessings of wealth, and urged the church members who were wet with inertia to obey the word. Because of that wind, I heard a lot of complaints that are hard to hear. “My husband doesn’t believe me, but I should be happy to go to church, and this evangelist doesn’t know anything, but he doesn’t know anything.” “The shepherd leads the sheep to green pastures and still waters, where are you struggling to go to church?” I also heard resentment. Anyway, the members of the church obeyed and things got better, and after many twists and turns, the old church building was demolished and a new one was built without the help of other churches.
However, I experienced the great miracles of the Exodus, experienced the miracle of the Red Sea, and complained whenever there was a difficult or difficult thing on the way, but through the prayer of Moses, I experienced forgiveness and the grace that worked properly. In spite of receiving God's laws and commands, the people of Israel also complained with evil words that God heard. Of course, the ears of Moses, the servant of God and the leader of the people of Israel, were also filled with resentment.
3. The Fire of God's Wrath and Moses' Prayer
God, who heard the evil murmurings of the people of Israel, became angry and made the fire of the LORD, the fire of God, ignite among them and devour the end of the camp. Because the fire of God was kindled, it was called Darbera.
God does not only hear the words of thanks that are good to hear, but also the voices of evil murmurings that are bad to hear. Therefore, when resentment, especially against God, is about to come out, you must first think of God, who is listening with your ears that never close. Furthermore, we need to be temperamental, reminding ourselves of God who sees even in our hearts with eyes like a flame. There are compelling reasons to do so. In Numbers 14:28, it is said, “I swear by my life, saith the Lord, that as you have heard in my ears, I will do to you.”
It's a joke. There was a 59-year-old couple. The inspiration, who always complained that his wife was not a young woman, prayed to God. I asked him to let me live with a woman who was 30 years younger. One day, when he was resentful that he did not come true, he looked in the mirror and was startled. 89-year-old grandfather was looking at him in the mirror. The age difference between me and my 59-year-old wife is exactly 30 years.
After repenting and begging, the inspiration returned to its original state, and within a week, the resentment came again. I prayed and prayed for a long life with a 30-year-old woman. One day the inspiration, who was resentful for not being able to do it quickly, woke up one day and looked at the seat next to him to find a 29-year-old pretty young woman lying there. In the end, the inspiration died after complaining about it for a long time while being bullied by his wife, who was 30 years younger.
Gratitude invites gratitude, and resentment invites resentment. Of course, there will be times in your life that you will be resentful of for whatever reason. Whenever that happens, please turn the opportunity to complain into an opportunity to pray. Resentment is the first step in solving one's problem, which is to blind us to our problem, to make our spirit and mind and body more sick, torment many people, and to invite another source of resentment.
A loving God was angry with the Israelites to prevent further sickness in spirit and body, to prevent them from harassing each other, and to stop another source of resentment. However, he burned the edge of the people's camp, not the center. It gives you an opportunity to understand and repent. The people of Israel, helpless and anxious and afraid of the fire of God's wrath, cried out to Moses.
4. Conclusion
You don't know how painful, tired, exhausting, annoying, and angry other people are because of people who have become accustomed to resentment. Israel, who prided itself on being God's chosen people, often complained and caused God's wrath and punishment. You should not do this kind of resentment, and you should also avoid doing things that will cause others to resent you. The resentment caused by resentment, or God's discipline and chastisement, is not an opportunity to complain, but an opportunity to repent and pray. God hears the intercession of servants who work for the church members with His love.
