people of heaven
(Philippians 3:17-21)
Autumn is a season when the sky is high and refreshing.(…) Christians should aim for the sky with eternal hope. The church is a community on earth but in heaven. The church is on earth, but it does the will of God. Because it follows the values of heaven and the pattern of behavior in heaven, the church is the place that does the work of heaven while on earth. That is why the church is delivering hope as blue as the sky and living according to the will of the sky as high as the sky.(…)
The kingdom of God is a place where there are no tears of sorrow, only tears of joy. A place where no one competes, only those who praise and admire. No one likes to fight. You need a visa to go there. However, the visa will be denied to such person. A greedy person, an arrogant person, a person who has lived a life of greed, an angry person, a person who is envious of others, a liar, a person who only sees other people's weaknesses, a person who only complains, and a person who slanders others will not be issued a visa to enter this country. The church rejects such people. Even if you have this kind of heart, He makes you repent quickly and fall away. Because the church should be high, blue, and beautiful like the sky.(…)
The greatest danger for the church is to make Christians without repentance, and to become a philosophical Christianity that preaches forgiveness without regeneration. ㉡It is a church without Jesus, and ㉢is governing without God. The church becomes a blue sky only when Jesus Christ exists. A Christian must have Jesus in his life to become a beautiful Christian.
Look at the text today. He says that we must wait for the one who is in heaven and the one who saves from it, that is, Jesus Christ. It is to wait for and imitate Jesus Christ in order to obtain heavenly citizenship. Those who wait and long for Jesus Christ and look forward to it can become the people of the kingdom of heaven. There is a famous saying. “Anyone can become a Christian only by meeting one true member of the church.” When he meets a Christian who only worships on Sunday, he becomes a Christian who only worships on Sunday. If the church member you met once with great effort was a fake member, those who did not believe will be disappointed and will not return to the church again.(…)
If I imitate Christ, I am a Christian. If there is someone who imitates me, that person also becomes a sincere Christian. Only the church that imitates Christ shows the blue, high and beautiful sky. In order to imitate Jesus Christ, ① we must drink pure and spiritual milk. ② We must build a spiritual house. ③ The saints must become true priests. (…) Look at the autumn sky, everyone. It is high, blue and beautiful. The church imitated heaven. The church is our heaven. The saints are the people of the kingdom of heaven. Amen.
