Title: The Posture of a True Harvester
In today's text, the Lord purposely went to the land of Samaria, which the Jews were reluctant to go. It is because the Lord had a very big business there. It is none other than to grant the grace of salvation to a woman living in Suga. Many Bible teachers today misunderstand the woman at the well of Suga as a very unclean woman, but she is not an unclean woman, but lives with the last remaining husband in order to inherit the Jewish tradition (Genesis 38). She is a very virtuous woman.
When the Lord said to the woman, "Call your husband," she didn't lie when she said, 'I don't have a husband,' but that he doesn't have a husband because he is still too young. The Lord already knew all this and went to find him. This is exactly what the Lord is saying about those who seek Him. (Hebrews 11:6) The Lord knows the desperate hope of a woman who is waiting for a son to inherit a family from her. The Lord went to the woman to give him eternal hope, even though the world's hope was cut off and wet.
The woman saw the Lord as a prophet and said, “Lord, I saw that you are a prophet.” “Our ancestors worshiped on this mountain, but you say that the place of worship is in Jerusalem.” The Lord said, “God is spirit, and the hour will come when those who worship him will worship in spirit and truth.” What do you mean by spirit and truth? It means true worship that comes from the depths of the heart. In other words, it refers to worship that is offered without evil in the heart. God seeks out those who want to worship like this and leads them to do so.
The Lord is looking at them and saying that the harvest time is near. The word harvest refers to the harvesting of ripe crops. As the Lord looked at that woman and expected a son by supporting all his youth in order to inherit a family, he gave the Son of God to those who truly longed for God in their hearts, and poured out the Holy Spirit on them. When they yearn for God deep within their hearts, He calls them back together and blots out the sins that remain in the flesh, and then makes them whole. This is the true harvest.
The same is true of the harvester's mission. Since it is said that spiritual things are distinguished by spiritual things, of course, the Lord who came from heaven must select the people of the kingdom of heaven.
Now the harvest time is certain. There are crops to be harvested all over the world. But we humans cannot harvest. Only the Lord, the Lord of Heaven, is in charge of this matter. It is enough for us to empty me so that the Lord can come into me and bring forth a great harvest.
The more people who can empty me, the more the Lord will work all over the world, but if not, the Lord will again have to work limitedly. Remember that Jesus, who came to the land of Israel in a physical body, was forced to stay in the land of Israel because of his physical limitations! We must empty ourselves thoroughly so that the Lord, who has come as the Holy Spirit, can use us freely in us. That way, even one person will be able to have a more complete harvest.

If you truly love the Lord, you must completely empty yourself so that He can work in you. This is the best we can do. -Amen-
