Title: The Power of Blessing (1 Peter 03:8)
Content (Introduction) If you look at the language of Asians, there are not many words that give blessings to others. But Westerners can easily use that phrase as 'God bless you!'. Actually, blessing with words has great power behind it. Blessing means 1) to be holy and perfect in words and seek God's blessing under any circumstances. 2) It has the meaning of glorifying, etc. In a word, to bless means to bring good results to an event, certain condition, or personality.
1. Blessings change the environment. 1) Isaac's blessing and Jacob and Esau (Gen. 27).
2) The blessing that changed the vagrant husband.
3) Bless those who persecute you, do not curse them.
2. When you ask for a blessing, you receive the blessing as an inheritance. 1) Bless the blessed nation (Genesis 12:1-3).
2) Bless the blessed individual: When you see someone who is blessed by the Lord, bless him. Then the blessing will come to you as well.
3) If you curse anything, you will turn it around and curse it, and if you ask for a blessing, it will also be blessed.
3. Bless God.
Psalm 103:1-5 "Praise the Lord, O my soul. All that is within me, bless his holy name." 1) Atonement - the blessing of realizing the grace of the atonement of Jesus Christ.
2) Healing - The grace of Jesus' healing is given.
3) The benefits of life - God's riches and riches are given.
(Conclusion): It is easy to bless with words. But as long as it is true and true there is power. Therefore, no matter what circumstance you are in, do not be negative or disappointed, and do not forget to bless the event. Then all things will come under the great power of blessing and produce good results.
