Moses' prayer
(Psalm 90:1-17)
(…) In the life of faith, we must pray. When should we pray? What should we pray for?(…) Prayer solves our difficulties. Do not panic or be discouraged when things are difficult. You have to go to God and tell him in detail. Prayer strengthens our relationship with God. to get to know God. Prayer enriches our lives. (…) Psalm 90 is a prayer addressed to God at the end of 120 years of life. This prayer is a confession of faith throughout Moses' life. The life of Moses must become our life, and the prayer of Moses must become our prayer.(…)
①Moses prayed to help us understand what life is.
(…) Looking at the text, Moses realized three things. ㉠ I realized that one of them is a revolving life. Our spirit comes to God and returns to God, but our body returns to dust because it is dust. ㉡I realized that life is all about toil and sorrow. Even if life is short, I want to be happy and happy, but I am born crying and end my life crying. ㉢Moses knew that if a life of toil and sorrow comes before God, there will be judgment. The Bible says that after death comes judgment. Because God is the master of your life, you must stand before God. Moses realized this.
②Moses prayed to help us understand how to live wisely.
What is the way to live life wisely? The right choice brings success and happiness, and the wrong choice leads to unhappiness and failure. There are three important choices in life. The first is the choice of a profession, the second is the choice of a spouse, and the third is the choice of life view. The choice is important, difficult, and solemn. If you choose the wrong spouse, you will be unhappy with each other. If I choose the wrong job, my life cannot be happy. If I choose the wrong view of life, my life becomes dark.(…)
③Moses prayed for true joy.
We can be satisfied with the Lord's kindness, blessing, and love to us. What is life? To live is a command from God.(…) Therefore, our life is a mission.(…) When we realize our mission, we have true joy. When is the best day of a person's life, it is a day to discover a big goal and mission to dedicate one's life to. It will be a great day, a day of exhilaration, a day of joy.(…) When life restores true joy, everything I do with my hands becomes solid. At the end of the text, Moses prays, emphasizing twice, “Make sure the works of our hands are established.” Everyone, let's pray like Moses. ① Let me know what life is! ②Give me the wisdom to live wisely!, ③Give me true joy!, ④Fortify the work of my hands! Amen
