Title - The Privilege of a New Life

Bible - Romans 8:11

Whenever we think about the concept of life, there is always a problem that burdens our hearts. It is the concept of death.

Because life is based on the concept of death.

Therefore, the sages of this world have been speaking positively or negatively about life.

The greatest hope of the people of this world is to gain eternal new life without death.

Through the words we read today, God says that our saints are beings who have received eternal new life.

The saints escaped from the old life that was directly related to death and received a new life in the Lord.

Now, let's think about the blessing and value of that new life together.

example - certain thing

A person who was suffering from sickness decided to move to a warmer area. He visited several areas to select the most suitable area for his needs. While visiting Arizona, he asked, "What is the average temperature?" "How about the humidity?" "How many days are sunny?" asked my back. Then when he asked, "What's the mortality rate?" I was told, "Hey, that's the same place you were. Everyone dies once."

Despite advances in medicine, which prolongs life and improves quality of life, mortality remains the same. For “it is appointed unto men once to die” (Hebrews 9:27), “for all have sinned” (Romans 3:23), and “the wages of sin is death” (6:23).

Therefore, it is very important to live with the right perspective. Death comes after life, and after death comes judgment. All who believe in Christ as Savior will come out of the grave “to the resurrection of life,” but all who reject Jesus will come “to the resurrection of judgment” (John 5:29). For those who do not believe, death brings destruction, but for those who believe, death brings glory.

A wise person is one who acknowledges the certainty of death, and a wiser person is one who prepares for it.-Galili Village

1. Never cut off from the eternal world

The Bible calls the life that the saints have gained in the Lord “new life.”

Conversely, the temporary life of people in this world that has nothing to do with God is expressed as ‘pushke’.

It simply means physical life.

In other words, it simply means that you are breathing.

Therefore, the saints do not have only physical life, but have received eternal life in heaven, life connected with the world of God in the Lord.

Because of the redemptive grace of Christ, he changed his dwelling place of life from an earthly man to a citizen of the kingdom. And that relationship with that eternal life was privileged to never be severed.

The life that people in this world have is a temporary life that is cut off from God. Therefore, the saints should give infinite gratitude to the God who is the source of eternal life.

It is not the result of our efforts and merits.

Because it is a gift from God only through the Lord Jesus Christ.

Yehwa - Beware of quick resolution

Some people pray only in times of crisis. They have a “quick-solve” mentality that sees God primarily as a problem solver. When a merciful solution appears, we politely thank God and forget it for a while until the next crisis comes.

There is the story of a wealthy little girl who was afraid to climb the dark stairs alone and was served by servants. The girl's mother encouraged her to overcome that fear by asking Jesus to go up the stairs with her. When the child went all the way up the stairs, he said, “Thank you, Jesus. It's okay to go now." a voice was heard.

We may laugh at this, but Psalm 106 contains a grave warning against letting God out of our lives as if it were possible. The Israelites took the mercy of the Lord for granted. But God called it rebellion (verse 7). Because they chose to ignore God, their souls became malnourished (verses 13-15). What an important lesson for us!

Expect great things from God. But don't expect God to come at your fingertips. Instead, be obedient to what God tells you to do and be passionate about doing His will.

Ask God to accompany you through life's dark passages like that wealthy little girl. But instead of letting God go when your special needs are met, cling to God as if your life was at stake. Because that's true! - Galilee Village

2. Life abounds in honor and glory

The Bible testifies that the old life is a life that is enslaved to Satan's power of death.

Living in the midst of the forces of sin and death is the same as living but dead.

Neither the fulfillment of life nor beautiful fruits can be expected.

They have a miserable fate, waiting only for God's eternal judgment.

However, the new life that the saints enjoy is completely different in quality and content.

Because it is a life where the righteousness, glory, and love of God rule.

“For the law of the Spirit of life, which is in Christ Jesus, has set you free from the law of sin and death” (Romans 8:2).

As the Triune God protects the lives of the saints, guides them on the path overflowing with God's will and glory, and nurtures them, their lives will be adorned with honor and glory. “They will be content with the fatness of the house of the Lord.

You will drink from the rivers of your happiness” (Psalm 36:8).

The value of human life cannot be measured by theory.

However, please remember that only the new life that our saints have gained in the Lord is the true life that God and the Bible acknowledge.

I pray that you will become saints who enjoy the blessing of life abundantly in the Lord.
