The princess' son Moses was a Hebrew.
Exodus 2:1-15
(2) And the woman conceived and bore a son, and when she saw that he was good, he hid him for three months.
(3) When it became impossible for him to hide any longer, he took a box for him, and painted it with bitumen and wood, and put the child there among the reeds by the river.
(4) And he stood afar off to find out what was going on with his sister.
(5) When Pharaoh's daughter came down to the river to bathe, and the maids were walking by the river, when she saw a box among the reeds, she sent her maid to bring it.
(6) He opened it, and saw the child, and saw the child weeping. He had compassion on him and said, “This is a Hebrew child.
(7) The sister said to Pharaoh's daughter, "Shall I go and call a nurse from among the Hebrew women, and nurse this child for you?
(9) And Pharaoh's daughter said to him, "Take this child and nurse me, and I will pay her wages." The woman took the child and nursed her.
(10) And the boy grew up, and he took him to Pharaoh's daughter, and she became his son, and he called his name Moses, saying, "Because I drew him out of the water."
(11) When Moses had grown up, he went out to his brethren on one occasion, and saw his affliction, and he saw an Egyptian beating a certain Hebrew, his brother.
(12) And he looked from side to side, and when he saw that no one was there, he struck the Egyptian and hid it in the sand.
(15) When Pharaoh heard of this, he sought to kill Moses, and Moses fled from Pharaoh's presence and stayed in the land of Midian;
(The princess' son Moses was a Hebrew)
Moses was the son of a princess and the grandson of Pharaoh. But why did he become a Hebrew, act as a Hebrew, and fight against the will of Pharaoh? Did you kill the Egyptians, protect the Hebrews, and become a fugitive?
1. Hebrew blood flowed through Moses' body.
It means that they were God's chosen people. Of course, for God's use, he made the princess meet and receive education under the protection of Egypt.
2. It was because of the hidden religious education of the nanny.
Through that religious education, I came to think of God, God's people, and the glory after suffering rather than the treasures of Egypt (more than the world).
A nanny's education is informal. If the Pharaoh or the princess found out, they would be beaten to death.
It was a secret underground church (eg, Christianity in China, Christianity in North Korea, Islam in Korea).
I personally trained my faith through informal meetings.
He raised the son of an impossible Egyptian princess to be a Hebrew. this is
(1) Through the work of the Holy Spirit - The Holy Spirit that worked on Jochebed the mother came to work on Moses as well. The work of the Holy Spirit transcends science and barriers.
Luke 1:44 John the Baptist in Elizabeth's womb recognized Jesus in Mary's womb and jumped with joy.
(2) I was educated with the heart.- The communion of the heart was established. It doesn't matter if there is a language barrier or a local barrier.
⑶ I appealed through prayer. - Prayer is our only strong weapon.
⑷ I really wanted it. - He didn't act according to his heart or his words.
It was God who chose Moses and made him the leader of Israel.
After that, it was his mother Jochebed who made Moses, the son of the princess, a Hebrew.
Let's believe that today we too can turn those who belong to the devil into servants of God.
There is nothing impossible in faith. Amen.
